Today while at the opening in Zephyrhills (store #5285)I saw something that really bothered me. Two young ladies from Papa Johns carried up what seemed to be maybe 20 pizzas as a welcome gift to the community. Overheard that it was free for the employees as a welcome to the neighborhood, and they were told that they have enough food already and could just give it away to the customers outside. As they were setting up they were rudely told to leave by the higher ups, with no explanation or apologies. I heard her say that she had okay'd this previously with the GM of wawa the previous day. Anyways the people there were extremely rude to them and made them load all the pizzas back up and leave. They were just trying to do a good deed and welcome a new business.. I heard the one extremely rude lady say, "well this isn't happening today and how would you like it if we brought Wawa products to your store?"So sad that such rude impolite ppl like this exsist and represent this store. This was around 10 am this morning before papa johns was even open, which means they went above and beyond to do something nice to...
Read moreTried pumping gas before work and I guess you had an employee out changing receipt rolls and cleaning supplies at the pumps. He stopped me before I could pump gas and said he was going to check the paper first. It’s was fine for me to finish but did look low so he asked if I would wait so he could go grab another roll. I kindly said can I pump my gas while you go get another roll I’m kinda in a hurry I have to work. He said it was fine but you could tell he was agitated and kept saying it won’t take long just a minute but he didn’t even have the replacement ready to go he had to go get it. He then asked me questions that made me feel uncomfortable like if I worked far and where I worked. I said I’m fine thank you and kind of ignored it. He then went on to talk to another Lady not that far from me pumping gas. And was only really doing the gas pumps where people were at. He was wearing a wawa shirt and yellow safety vest and had keys to the pumps and a cart with supplies but in this day and age that all seems kind of shady how he was acting. I won’t go back here. I was just needing gas and this was...

This Wawa location is always buzzing with activity—and for good reason. Conveniently located right off I-75, and nestled between a Chick-fil-A and a car wash, it's in one of the busiest spots in Wesley Chapel. Whether it's morning commuters fueling up or people grabbing lunch on the go, this place stays packed.
Despite how busy it gets, the service is consistently great. The staff moves with speed and purpose, and they manage the crowds really well. I’ve never waited long for gas, food, or coffee. The store is always well-stocked and clean, which is impressive given how much foot traffic it gets.
Parking can be a bit hectic during peak times, but that’s expected in a plaza with high-volume businesses side by side. Once inside, though, the efficiency and friendliness of the team make it worth it.
Overall, this Wawa is a solid stop whether you need gas, a fresh sandwich, or just a reliable convenience store with excellent service. Busy? Yes. Worth...
