I have been to many nail salons and this was possibly the worst I've ever been to. I was in town visiting family and decided to take my mom and daughter out for a girls day out and get pedicures, and all 3 of us had terrible service. Even my daughter said to me that the lady who did her nails was mean to her and that was before I even said anything. First off they handed us a flyer with different pedicure services all which are outrageously overpriced. The atmosphere wasn't inviting enough to drop $40, 50, + on a pedicure. There was a tv going with a trashy movie that I couldn't believe was on, especially with little girls around (mine was not the only one). And then the music was loud so it wasn't relaxing by any means. Then no one offered us anything to drink. The lady who did my (basic) pedicure used what looked like a cheese grater on my feet and took too much off to the point that my feet hurt for days after! The lady who did my mothers and my feet hardly rubbed them. It was basically blobbed some lotion on the feet and legs, rubbed it and that was it. No rubbing (massaging) whatsoever. My mom was looking forward to a nice foot rub and got squat. As I said, I've been to many and have always been given a nice foot rub so I figured she'd get one. I felt so bad that she didn't get it. The lady who did her feet sat down and was texting on her phone for about 5 minutes. My mom sat with her feet in lukewarm water while she just splashed some water between texting. Then she turns to my mom and does a half ended job. And the lady who took care of my daughter was the WORST! She was such a grouchy lady. I understand that my daughter is only 7, talkative and wiggles a lot. I do her nails myself all the time and know what it entails. But this chick had NO patience with her. She was so gruff with her and would constantly bark at her "sit still"! My daughter would talk to her and she would ignore her or get really nasty to her. My daughter has had multiple pedi's with me and so she asked the lady if she could have a drink. Even just asking that the lady made it out to be like it was a huge inconvenience! My daughter asked her to paint her fingers and the lady rolled her eyes like it again was a huge inconvenience. That alone was $20 just for my daughter and not worth it. In the end I paid over $70 and it wasn't worth a single penny of it. They are lucky I was generous and left a very small tip. Then to top it all off, all 3 finished our feet, cleaned up their things and walked away. We waited for about 15-20 minutes for someone to come and say we could go, say bye, thanks for coming, and NO ONE stopped, not even to see if our nails were dry. My mom had tennis shoes, they didn't check to make sure she could put them on. Not a single person in the entire shop stopped! By then my mother and I were mad, I checked her nails and said they were dry. We got up and left. It wasn't till we got in the car and my daughter said "mom that lady was SO mean to me"! Never will I or my mother go back or would I recommend them to anyone. Next time I'll do it at home. I pay the same amount, a wonderful atmosphere and the people do a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo let me start by saying that I rarely post reviews, however, I words could not express how surprised I was by the customer service. So I went for a regular pedicure and dip powder on my fingernails. The nail tech at the time was very nice and attentive, however, by the following day, two of my dip powder nails which are supposed to last 3-4 weeks were already lifting and chipping. I went and spoke to the girl who was in charge that day and she was very confrontational in wanting to know which nail tech did my nails the previous day because she was going to make HIM fix it. Although the nail tech was nice and all, obviously he did not do a good job or maybe was not trained well on how to do dip powder which is why two of my nails we already lifting. For this reason, I kindly asked for someone else to fix my nails. With attitude she carried on to say that she would fix it, however, she would ONLY fix the TWO fingernails that were lifted and chipped. I explained to her that if only 24 hours had passed and two fingernails were already lifting and chipped, the likelihood that the dip powder on the rest of my nails was going to last was not very high and preferred if all nails got fixed. Long story short, and after several interruptions and mean look on her face...she added an extra layer of powder, re-shaped ny nails and fixed them nicely. As she was fixing ny nails, she seemed mad and it was very uncomfortable. I apologized for the inconvenience and explained that I felt bad even going back to complain about my nails and did not want to get the nail tech in trouble because he was very nice. In the middle of all this, she rambled on and bickered with the other staff members about who was going to take the next customer (this all went on in front of all customers at the time). I went with the mind set that they would fix my nails and that was that, however, the way that this situation was handled was totally unexpected. It is a shame because my coworker recommended this place as I always loved how her nails looked and even my Mom went here do get her nails done but after this episode, they basically lost 3 clients. I had every intention to return to this place again had this situation been handled appropriately but WOW, could not believe how UNPROFESSIONAL and UNCOMFORTABLE this girl made this experience. I was shocked, not even exaggerating. I am sorry for the owner, as I met her on the first day I went and she seemed very nice but she probably doesn't know what goes on.
I don't blame the first nail tech, I just feel that those who are newer to this should not be doing dip powder, acrylic, etc. as this requires more advanced skills and customers spend a lot of money on this. The dip powder alone was 35, together with regular pedicure was $58 plus the tip I gace him. So for the money we spend, I expect this dip powder to last a couple of weeks. It's only right.
Unfortunately, I will not return here. Will be searching for another place. FYI, the last thing customers who go back for a nail complaint want is to get the same...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went there because so many raved about this place on the FB community page š© OVERR RATED its like any other Vietnamese nail salon on ever corner. They're all nice & sweet showing slight interest in consistent clients life's "Long tym no seeee, how u duing) with simple conversations and majority of the staff Dont speak fluent English we've all come accustomed to it hell theres no exscaping them they own 53% of the nail industry š . I was irritated that after getting my nails finished I noticed two things, I thought to my self this place is a little more upscale then your tradional one stop shop Vietnamese nail salon ON EVERY CORNER so they must have a choice of PEDICURE treatments (I wasn't offered any options from their menu I seen a customer viewing) guess they assumed I looked young and African American I couldn't afford it and WHY BOTHER Then I realized one lady had a glass of wine & one lady had a bottle of water IF ONE THING THAT ERKS MY NERVE IS inconsistent CUSTOMER SERVICE why they got offered complimentary drinks HELL IM well over the age of 21& had to ask for a SMALL bottle of water because it was sobhot outside (it should be mandatory) . At that point they received no tip from me! I vistited this place a few weeks ago and promised to leave a review , 2 OF MY NAILS LIFTED W/IN 3DAYS, DAY 5 TWO OF THEM POPPED OFF . EVEN THOUGH I COULD TRY ANOTHER TECHNICIAN BUT WHY BOTHER NOT WORTH THE $78 I SPENT ON A GEL FULL SET & GEL PEDI (OH THEY DID HAVE SOME BOMB COOL ASS CHANGING GEL POLISH IV NEVER SEEN ANY WHERE...
