We stopped in for brunch around 12:30, were seated quickly, and were soon enjoying an Oreo Mocha Iced Coffee, Lemonade, and Coke. The lemonade was pretty pricey at $5.50, but it also tasted hand squeezed, which makes it comparable to my frou-frou coffee. We ordered the Everything Bagel, which was topped with cream cheese, avocado, smoked salmon, poached eggs, and broccoli sprouts, the Country Fried Chicken, which came with sausage gravy, a biscuit, and potatoes, and the crepe blackboard special- three cream cheese stuffed crepes topped with strawberry sauce, fresh strawberries and whipped cream with a side of potatoes and a butter rum muffin. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals, but two of us agreed that the potatoes needed a little more crispyness. I didn't really think the muffin gave butter rum, but it was tasty.
Our server was fine, but they definitely did the bare minimum to keep us happy. One of their counterparts, on the other hand, popped by our table to recommend we check out the blackboard specials, which we hadn't noticed, and later came by to offer a steak knife to the person with the bagel dish because it's a challenge to cut with a regular table knife.... so shout-out to the server with the long, dark blonde...
Read moreAmazing. 5 star service food and experience. The wonderful new hostess cleaned a table just vacated by the window at my request as my chlostraphobia always has me preferring to sit outside but the children were having none of that in this june weather. The hostess cleaned it quickly and seated us with a smile. Janay/Genee came over quickly and proceeded to tend us. She went above and beyond making the best strawberry lemonade at my little girl's request even though it wasn't on the menu and also gave them an etch a sketch to play with. She never went too long without making sure we were doing okay and made the perfect suggestions for food. The food was amazing. I haven't had brekky out in a while and it was delicious. You can't get a good cheap breakfast anywhere Iike the diners of olden age but this was worth the extra Mula 👌 😋 go. There's an extensive menu and something for everyone. We will be back to try more and we all look forward to it. 🥰 I can recommend the kids breakfasts and the chorizo Benedict. I preferred the hollandaise over the tomatillo sauce but the dish was fantastic as well as the potatos which were the side star of the show. We all left stuffed and with leftovers,...
Read moreVery seldom would I write a negative review for a restaurant because I understand that not every meal will be perfect. Having an occasional bad experience does not mean a restaurant is bad. However, my experience here deserves a mention. First, my server, Valerie, was outstanding, but after that, my experience was disgusting. I ordered the stuffed French toast, and it was abnormally cold. I assumed that it was cold because of the cream cheese filling or from the generous amount of strawberries, but after a few bits, the French toast basicly turned into mush. After choking down about half, I discovered that the underside of the toast was not cooked. Basically, I was eating a raw egg mixture. I am not sure if this is how they always fix the french toast, but this was my experience today. Also, at first glance, the interior looks beautiful, but as you look around, it appears that the renovation was done by non professionals. The menu and atmosphere look great, but they need management to step up and make some revisions before...
