Wendy's — Restaurant in Florida

Do yourself a favor and stay home if you have any plans on visiting this place after 8pm. In the last 2 weeks the shortest time I spent in the drive thru was 28 minutes. Bill came to $21.36 for. 2 people. Then to top it off was given a drink and no straw with the kids response in drive thru of "we only have 4 people working what do you expect" then the manager came to the window and threw his hands up when I started talking turned his back to me and started to nod his head side to side. Like a child. Seeing how he was a middle eastern man pushing 70 years old I was a little shocked at the response. And you know why? He was just refusing to give my kid a small sized frosty i requested for us waiting nearly 30 minutes. With no drink straw. Because " why am I special? Everyone else has waited just as long" he says. Oh really? Because if I'm the 1st person I've been there longer than anybody else at least I thought that's how the rules of time worked Oh really? Been living in Lehigh for almost 20 years now, most times I get great customer service everywhere I go, today that wasnt the case at Wendys.

Pulled up to the drive-thru window to a line that wrapped around the place like always. Waiting at least 20 minutes to get my order which is ok. I ordered 4 5 dollar biggies with double stack plain, and another extra one normal. When i get to the window they hand me two of em, after like 5 minutes they asked if I got everything, i said no im just waiting for 3 more.

I showed my receipt and sure enough they only charged me for for 2 of them, no big deal, i hand them my card and said it happens, can i pull to the side and just add the 3 that were missed, manager said they dont add items at the window, well im not adding or asking for free food, here is my money just add the other 3,....nope, have to go around the back of the line again which is again wrapped around the building.

I couldve flipped out but instead im writing this post to vent and show what a poor service was offered today and hopefully it gets better since we dont have many choices in this small town.

Oct.14 2024 9 AM I purchase two number eights and one number nine no bacon the order was fine except for the soda they gave us All three orders with breakfast I don’t get it soda with breakfast.? and it’s funny that both soda machines were completely out of any type of juice OK but that’s not the problem. The problem with the condescending way the cashier with the nose piercing was towards two of my family members that were with me One age 83 my mother the other age 53 and I’m 59 myself. they were in Between themselves conversation in Spanish about which order to get and the problem that there’s no orange juice with breakfast orders. the distain that was in the face was amazing until I got there and and ordered I don’t understand how a person that age tries to look down on someone it’s sad but true. I happen to be a 27 year veteran of the Teamsters. Yeah those subzero working guys so I know what it is to work hard and I understand having a bad day but How dare you Wendy’s Please train your employees according!
