Update: (1/29/2019) Received call from corporate office, I was given a full refund. Multiple apologies and says free coupons being mailed to my address for additional free meals. Zaxbys really stood up. So to summarize, I received more than I ordered yesterday but was charged double, today was made whole (full refund) so that's more than 2 family meals for free already and more free food coming. Now that is customer service. Original comment: (1/28/2019) Not sure what to think. I asked about 'family meal' that their website says not on the menu, but ask when you order. To be “Family Dinner Meal is great for take out” Review of Zaxby's. Not on the menu but you can ask for it. You get 20 chicken fingers, fries, bread and dipping sauces for about $20.00. Said they don't have such a thing. So I order 3 wings-n-things and 10 traditional wings: nearly $50.00 I wait, review my receipt to discover overcharge. I question it with the manager. He checks and says I will get credit for the overcharge. Still waiting, I check my online bank transaction. Low and be hold, not a credit but another charge for $35.00 I ask to speak to manager again (still waiting on my order) while reviewing my receipt, my food comes and quess what? Yep order is wrong. So I wait some more, meanwhile manager still trying to figure out my bill. Finally says I will get full credit, entire meal - FREE. Order finally comes out, not sure of any of the flavors since it is way screwed up. I'll let you know if the credit shows up, right now I'm out for $80.00 for dinner for 4 from Zaxbys. Read moreI am hesitant to write a review. I like Zaxby's, and this location has always been good. The last 6 months, something has happened. The quality of food is still ok, not as good as it used to be, but ok, but the service has gone downhill to the point that I suggest you check your whole order before you leave the restaurant to make sure it is right, and that you have gotten everything you are supposed to get. The last three times I have been there, they have left something out. Bad thing is all three times I asked an employee to check it and they did and assured me that everything was accounted for, then I checked it and found something missing everytime. Two of the times it was salad dressing, and one time it was honey mustard sauce. Once it was a fried chicked sandwich instead of a grilled one. My point in posting this is to get them to do something to train their employees better, I want to see them succeed. I like having a Zaxby's in my hometown and if things keep going the way they are, they are not going to make it. The other thing is the fact that all three times the employee told me everything was in the bags and they were wrong, they barely acknowledged a mistake. Almost to the point of blaming me for pointing out the problem instead of apologizing for goofing up. People go out to eat to enjoy their meal. Dealing with mistakes and errors is part of life, but dealing with consistent mistakes and errors means there is a problem somewhere. I hope they fix their issues before it...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. This is the sorriest Zaxbys I’ve EVER been to. Unfortunately this is the only Zaxbys in our town and my child is obsessed. However, every single time we go our order gets messed up. Tonight we went, asked for a loaded fry add wimpy sauce, a zax snack sun the zax sauce for ranch, a girl on the speaker my order for the third time and she says okay pull forward. We get to the window and get our drinks & pay & are then pulled forward, no problem. Our food gets brought out as I’m checking the receipt and I realize our food is all messed up. Charged for sauces that were never mentioned or spoken of, my chicken finger plate wasn’t buffaloed. I told the girl who brought it out that our order was wrong and she said “okay…” so I told her what was wrong with it and she says “okay we can’t take food back so I’ll get it made correctly for you” and five minutes later came back and said “never mind, I’ll take the finger plate back and Buffalo it per my manager” so I handed it backed and my husband followed her back inside and the manager is standing at the counter and she asked him “do you want your food back?” Like uh yeah, we just spent $35! And she says “I’m sorry we can’t be perfect every time” and smiles.
