Read moreI in the past have ALWAYS had an AMAZING experience at this location it’s like It went down the hill or something idk. Last night around 8:20 PM Myself & Family visited this location the young lady that greeted us was a sweetheart she got us together to be seated wait was about 5 mins no biggie. We get to our seats and bless the waitresses heart she took forever to even greet us! Literally like 15 mins we sat there looking around like can we get some water or something? Anywho by the time she got there we were for sure ready to order drinks and food at the same time. It was NOT busy AT ALL! She was nice just seemed distracted. We ordered she brought out our drinks except the adults, we had adult drinks that we waited on and received like 15 mins after our food! By the time they made It to the table they were WATERED DOWN REALLY BAD! Our food was as fresh as It normally is which caught me by surprise because again this has always been one of the best locations in the past. The whole table had finished eating our waitress did not come to check on us not one time during our stay. I looked for that young lady high and low, I wanted a new drink because $14 went down the drain and our check because at this point It was 9:50 ish and we were very ready to go. While waiting there were employees in the back that literally broke out in a physical altercation. Like WHAT?!?!?! We seem people just start walking out fussing and yelling about It. At this point we didn’t want to even stay anymore for sure, come back, and felt we deserved a discount or to not pay the experience was just like are you kidding me???!!! Finally our waitress came and we asked for 3 Togo boxes for a few kids that were too distraught to eat, our check, and explained to her about the watered down drinks, she offered to get the remade for Togo, mind you I’m not drinking and driving but I said okay that’s fine I’ll drink It when I get home, she brings us back one box no check, and no drink. So we were like thank you but we asked for 3 out check and the remakes. She goes back to grab two more boxes and took like 10 mins to get our check. Still no remakes. At this point our stay was over extended and we were very ready to go! The poor bartender looked like she was trying to help out on the floor possibly because what happened in back, the young lady that greeted us and one other young lady as well. Our waitress YET AGAIN nowhere to be found! So we gathered our belongings to leave as we were walking out we could see her standing in back with her phone and talking to another employee. I wish I would have gotten the employees names that we seen actually working because I felt really sorry for them. Read moreThis was my 1st visit to this Applebee's. We decided to use Curbside pickup to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday. I placed my order at 1:49 pm for a 4:40 pm pick up. 4:30 pm received message from Applebee's to click on link to expedite order ("click on link so order will be ready upon arrival"). The link didn't work. 5:02 pm NO ORDER! Curbside said they only have 2 employees working curbside. 5:03 pm CS Attendant said she would check the order. 5:05 pm CS Attendant claimed food/order was being bagged. 5:14 pm No Order. 5:23 pm Called Manager. He assured me that he would go outside to curbside and discuss my pickup order with person picking up order, which didn't happen. 5:27 pm Hung up on twice by Curbside. 5:30 pm went inside restaurant, requested order cancelation and refund. Suddenly, order appears with half of order missing. Manager, checks rest of order and has kitchen to cook (5:35 pm) another steak because "it didn't look good." 5:40 pm Manager gives $30 coupon on our next visit...His Location ONLY...lol!!!! NO refund, NO immediate discounts, and NO GRATUITY ($20.00) given as demanded. 5:45 pm Entire order received!
By now, the pastas were cold and dry. Steaks were not cooked as requested (overcooked), but the worse part, the lettuce in our salad was rotting and going bad, which was covered up by fresh lettuce!
Once entering the restaurant, there were other curbside customers complaining about their orders. One lady had only purchased a salad and had been waiting for an hour.
The staff members seem to be very confused about managing orders, complaints, answering the phone or anything else concerning the restaurant, even basic things: plastic ware, napkins, condiments, etc.
Honestly, I do not remember the last time that I've had service or food THIS BAD...not even McDonald's, and they always get your order wrong!
I have decided that this was one of those moments that I will report to the Corporate Office, BBB, Mo State Attorney General's office, and my CC company because of everything, mainly spoiled food being covered up, refusing to cancel the order, even though I didn't have my order, and the gratuity...
