I went here for the first time because there was RnB singer Group Jagged Edge after party here with free entry and tables. This is a nice restaurant. The drinks were pretty good (I would like to taste just a lil bit more liquor) but they were good. They are a lil pricey but I would say still worth it. Each drink about $15 give or take there is an upstairs with tables and booths. The upstairs is smaller than the downstairs but I preferred the upstairs because it was more secluded. The temperature in their was just right. Not too hot and not too cold. I also ordered the jerk chicken meal. That was good. It was very flavorful. The only thing that I was bummed about was since our reservation was for 9:30pm, there was not a full menu available. I looked on the menu and stated that after 9:30 PM, there is not a full menu available, just a select of items (I was really hoping to order something like Salmon pasta although I don't even know if y'all have it on your menu at all). The vibe here is nice. I seen on the sides that in Wednesdays there is RnB nights. I will be back to try that as well.

On May 29, 2024 my girls and I visited Bliss Restaurant. The restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing but that’s it. The server we had was horrible it took like 30 mins to get our drinks (they were weak for the price it should be 2.5-3oz pour but def wasn’t), 45 mins to get our food, and another 30 mins to get our cards back when we paid. There appears to only be on POS terminal so the staff has to stand in line to enter things in. As far as the food the oxtail was good, the rice was very dry and had no flavor, and the plantains were ok. I asked the server if she could bring me some gravy see said she can bring jerk sauce but she never returned with it. We ordered hookah the menu says $40 but was told there’s a $7 tax so it was $47. I also asked for a refill on my water and never got that. Overall, the service was poor, food was blah, but the place is cute. It has potential to be great but as of right now it’s a no for me. We were there from 6:30-9:30pm entirely too long for dinner for 4ppl.

It was my birthday. We had reservations for two tables 4+4 we asked the server was it OK to combine our tables since we were sitting next to each other? They said it was fine. We had no problem with gratuity. However, the service was so horrible down to the paper napkins and water served. It was so bad they had bugs jumping in and out of our drinks and our food, my guy asked for some shrimp. He never got them, which was weird because she heard us add a drink to his order but didn’t never bring his food and when we brought it to her attention, she said she didn’t hear it, but she heard us add another drink she was hookah and dancing and not paying no attention to our table yet she made almost $80 off of gratuity among the seven that was there, when we brought it to her attention and one of my friends drinks, had a gnat she told us that she could only give the shot and not to drink that food was overcooked or undercooked. The rice was crunchy like chips the fish was hard to eat. I would not be returning back due to the very bad gnats jumping in and out of drinks and food and was not accommodated correctly. She was too busy having fun with her coworkers to pay any attention, but made almost $100 off gratuity because we push our table together. She was very rude when we brought it to her attention that we had to ask for water and napkins and why was we getting gratuity and we had two separate reservations she didn’t bring nothing but 4 meals out. Everybody else had drinks very unpleasant time at a new restaurant we will not be returning, this happened Wednesday at 7 o’clock was our reservations. My table number was 40 and I don’t appreciate the service that I receive the first time being there on my birthday. They also told us it was a dress code but folks came in there regular gym clothes on and ball caps and scarves on hair, we have to do better with new businesses and it’s important that rules if they don’t apply to certain people a sad experience..The drinks was very water down and they was only was aqqgiving a half of shot… My friends brought me three shots and the cups had less then and shot in them. My guys got my a cup of 1738 and it’s was water down and taste like the liquor was cut with something else I drank the same thing all the time and I can tell that liquor wasn’t the same of what I usually drink had me sick the following day all day couldn’t get out of bed with a headache, and stomach upset. The music was...

This review is mainly on the food I ordered, but Ill start from the beginning.

It was date night for my wife and I, and we've been wanting to check this place out for awhile. I didnt do my homework like I usually do with new places, but was going off of what others said in conversation and/or social. Its located where a club was, so I was familiar with the area & parking. There definitely needs to be more lighting on the parking lot, although there is law enforcement present. We had reservations where we were greeted upon arrival and seated at our table. The waitress was attentive although she was serving other tables.

Definitely not what I expected. I thought it was going to be an intimate setting, but it was a whole vibe. I wont call it grown and sexy, but it was the mature crowd (Friday night). I didnt know it was a Caribbean restaurant, which is cool because I like Caribbean food, my taste buds wasnt set on it this evening.

I got the Jerk Wings w/Fries & Bliss Punch (I think thats the name of it). I knew them wings were going to be on point, but I was totally wrong. The wings were room temp even with the jerk sauce, and the chicken tasted like its been sitting out. The jerk sauce was good, but the actual wings were trash. The fries were better than the wings, and thats bad. It says on the menu that they're whole wings, but instead the size of party wings. I didnt expect them to be better than they were. I dine out alot, so my expectations are high.

Its not a 1 and done, but Ill have to try something different next time. The music and atmosphere would make me come back,...

considering that there are several other establishments surrounding Bliss, a few that even have overlapping hours of operations, there is very limited parking actually near the venue. I would add that there was security visible within the parking lot, and even a security car "somewhat" patrolling, however I'm not sure if they were associated with the venue or the plaza in general.

upon entering, we were immediately met with extremely loud music - I mean, stadium level. it was very difficult to hear anyone, the hostesses, the waitresses, or those within our party, who were sitting at the same table. also, I would like to add that the service was rather disappointing; the waitresses were not consistently checking on their table and often times failing to ensure that basic dining essentials (i.e. water, silverware, napkins, etc) were provided. our waitress, who did not provide her name, had a rather unfriendly demeanor and also had a rather condescending and quite frankly rude comment to a member of our party. in my opinion, the food was "decent," but nothing noteworthy; I'll even add that jollof rice did not look, nor taste like authentic jollof rice. also, I'll add that the drinks were definitely overpriced for the small amount of alcohol actually provided.

lastly, the venue marketed themselves as an upscale venue, "grown and sexy vibes" if you will, however despite the age requirement for entry, this was no different than any other lounge/club without the typical 18y + age requirement. if you are expecting something calm, classy and refine - this is not the...
