I USED to come here with my coworker and fiancé all the time. Drinks and food are the bomb. For those exact 2 reasons, I Decided to throw my fiancé a surprise 30th birthday party here. From the beginning of my interactions with this place, I should have known their business practices were going to be s**t. When I came to pay for the chicken wings for said party, they guy running my card was SLOPPY, PISSY DRUNK. Lou, the owner, had to call me back and tell me that he (drunk guy) neglected to run my card and I had to come back and "rerun" my card. Okay, whatever.

He (Lou) asks me am I going to leave a tip for the guy cooking my chicken......... ummmmmm no??? So I tell him I'll leave him a tip IN CASH, IF I WANT TO.

YOU, OR ANYBODY ELSE, CANNOT TELL ME TO TIP ANYBODY IF I DO NOT WANT TO. I don't care what they're doing for me. tips are NOT mandatory. long story short, after the party, I check my credit card statement and Lou decides to SHOW me that I AM leaving him a tip, ,a $15 one at that!!!!

I call him about the charge and he tells me, and I quote, "I can do whatever I want." NOT WITH MY CARD, BIG FELLA. I disputed the charge with my bank. CAME here Friday night (Jan. 19th) for my fiancé's cousin party, I bought 2 drinks, AGAINST MY BETTER JUDGEMENT AND GUESS WHAT???? THEY over charged my card, AGAIN. I just called and he tells me that he "SCRATCHED OFF THE 0.00 ON MY RECIEPT" to, I guess, include a tip on there. oh ok!! so you're in the business of fraudulence as well????? Cool.

Me and my fiancé will be there TONIGHT to get my money back from this clown. NEVER EVER EVER...

One star is way too many. Spike blonde bartender makes up prices on drinks over charged us girlfriend asked how much were our drinks spike gave 2 different prices 8.50 then 7.75 then got an attitude when asked about it. Then goes to register to punch in beer n rail drink 5.75 takes that amount out of tip jar to pay the total. Gives us correct change out of tip jar. That means she not only over charged us but was also putting out money paid for drinks in her tip jar.. girlfriend and I were having a private conversation she butts in starts raising her voice telling us to quit talking about it and her telling her and my girlfriend can take it outside and lets settle it out there. WTF pretty sure she knew my bartender girlfriend was on to her scheme and spike was all bent out of shape. Hey Lou this gal is stealing from you, your customers, and is threating patrons. 3 employees were arguing loud behind the bar about who is doing what jobs. We couldn't get out of that place quick enough. Had been going there off and on for 6 years and then some. Best part told our friends whom we were meeting there lets go to Florissant VFW,...

Classics - Cool place to "hang out" and get your drink on. It's a great atmosphere, and there's usually a lot going on inside. They have pretty good drink prices. However, sometimes it's hard to even get a drink. It appears that the bartenders would rather drink than make that money. Of course, the regulars get the most attention, while we "some timers" have to wait until they even acknowledge us. There were a few times when I sat & waited, made eye contact with the bartender, and still sat there without even an acknowledgement. I'll wait 5 minutes, then I'm out! If they're busy & don't see me, or if they wave (even tho they can't get to me yet), I'll wait longer - maybe another 5 minutes. THAT'S IT!! I'LL TAKE MY...
