My experience at Popeyes was mixed. Upon entering, it was clear that there wasn’t any staff member on duty who cared about the quality of the food, as the general atmosphere and presentation were a little off than usual. The young lady in the orange shirt with beautiful hair and lashes was particularly polite. Though I couldn’t tell if she was the manager, if she was, she seemed like the type who just wants to get the shift over with rather than ensuring everything runs smoothly.
One frustrating moment was when I was told I couldn't get the boneless wings in a combo, only the bone-in ones. When I asked why, she simply stated she didn’t know, which was disappointing. As a result, I had to order everything a la carte, which added up quickly—$19.44 for six pieces of boneless BBQ wings, a biscuit, a strawberry biscuit, a small order of fries, and a frozen strawberry lemonade.
While most of the food was good, the boneless wings were a letdown. They were chewy and a bit slimy. I returned them, and the lady, likely the manager, had the cooks drop a fresh batch. However, the second batch was just as bad, if not worse. They were extremely meaty and chewy—a complete waste.
Various staff members were on their phones. Others taking part in conversations ignoring the fact that it was a line of people. Ughh it’s unfortunate because I came here yesterday and they were twice as busy but the food was top tier. And the customer service was amazing! Clearly you can tell it’s nothing more than a bunch of young adults who rather be somewhere else other than work. People work hard and pay their hard earned money for food that’s trash not to mention a bad experience that’s trash as well! As you can see see in the photos I got so fed up I just through everything in the box and in the trash it went!!!
Overall, I'm sure if it were daytime and the usual management were on duty, the quality of the food would have been better and the whole experience itself would’ve just been better! When you know better...
Read moreExtremely Disrespectful Experience at Popeyes - Supervisor Training Urgently Required
I recently had an exceptionally disappointing experience at the Popeyes location. On August 17, 2023, at around 3:17 PM, the individual who was supervising the establishment demonstrated a severe lack of professionalism and customer service skills. Their behavior towards a woman who was expressing her concerns about another employee's disrespectful conduct was beyond unacceptable.
The supervisor's attitude and manner of speaking towards the customer were truly astonishing. Instead of empathizing and actively listening to the woman's valid complaints regarding the rude behavior she had experienced from a specific employee, the supervisor seemed disinterested and dismissive. They failed to acknowledge the employee's attitude or offer any resolution to the situation.
During the incident I witnessed, the employee that the customer was addressing displayed disrespectful behavior, including rolling her eyes, neck, and speaking with a demeaning tone. The customer simply wanted to express her feelings about the employee's attitude and request a condiment. However, the supervisor failed to address the issue appropriately and instead continued to interrupt the customer, disregarding her concerns.
Overall, the supervisor's handling of the situation was disrespectful and left much to be desired. It was appalling to witness such a lack of professionalism from someone in a position of authority. I believe it is imperative that this supervisor undergoes thorough retraining or reconsider their suitability for a customer service role altogether.
Given the nature of this experience, I cannot confidently recommend this particular Popeyes location. Improvements in staff training, better addressing of customer complaints, and the implementation of disciplinary measures are vital steps that management should take to improve customer satisfaction and ensure a more respectful and enjoyable...
Read moreWe ordered online and I went to pick up at the drive thru which was an option. At the window, I had to keep giving my name and the order number. They asked what I had ordered. Finally found it and would get it together. I offered to park and wait for it to be brought out so others in drive thru line could get their food but was told just wait here it’s fine. Ordered 12 pc meal and was told they did not have legs. I asked to substitute other chickens pieces. Each time the woman had to go ask someone else about my order. She then came back and said they only had breasts unless I wanted to wait. I asked and how long and she had to go get the answer which was 4 minutes. I said I will park and come inside. Train employees to say we are out of this item, it will be 5minutes if you want to wait instead of back and forth Inside a woman in an employee shirt went from the dining area to behind the counter saying she was diabetic, don’t rush me. Then came back to dining area before going behind the counter, putting together a box and grabbing tongs to add a couple pieces of chicken. She then went to dining area and sat down with some other people. Most employees seemed unhappy, no one smiled or seemed at all friendly. The counter space for customers to pick up orders had store mail and the store landline phone on it. The phone started ringing so I nudged it back a little because my order was set right next to it. No one answered the phone. There were no napkins or condiments in the bags even though I had said yes when asked if I wanted them. The food was good, but restaurant needs...
