Lawwwd hammercy please please please Do Not go off others reviews to determine whether ur going to try a restaurant unless it's my review, yall can trust me. Listen! I visited the restaraunt today and ordered the Oxtails and the jerk chicken curry chicken. Combo plate I wanted cabbage only for all 3 sides only because I love cabbage. I also ordered extra sauce for my oxtail because the people who lied on their review said the oxtail was dry. I said what I said. When I say I thoroughly enjoyed ALL of it. I tried sneaking in the house so I wouldn't have to share my oxtail with my greedy son.He must've heard me open the container cause there he was talking about that smell fire what u get US? US? We bashed everything yall it was all sooooo good. The oxtails seasoned tender and the extra sauce was worth sopping up the meat with. The beans and carrots that were in the oxtail container were soooo good. I wish I could've ordered a side of those to go with the oxtails. The BBQ jerk chicken didn't have sauce on it but I was cool with that because it taste like a seasoned smoked chicken and it was delicious. The curry chicken was tender but it could use a little more seasoning but no worries I stopped that up too with the oxtail gravy. The cabbage was delicious but could use a little more seasoning and some people said the cabbage was spicy but I didn't get that. They even threw in some plantains which my son loved and ate all of em. All in all I/we weren't disappointed and I'll be visiting again soon to try the patties and more. Please add jerk or curry goat I'd love to try it as well.

2nd visit. I placed an order for oxtails and asked if I could get extra beans that are in the oxtail gravy instead of the rice and peas and I was told yes. I picked up my order and when I got home, not a bean in sight. The receipt even says extra beans for side but I didn't get them. I called but was left on hold...

Hello all! I love authentic Jamaican food. I’ve been going to Kingston 10 to eat lunch for about 3 months now. About 5 to 7 times a month. The food is a hit or miss. And it depends on which cook is cooking that day. (One of the owners told me, a guy) Some cooks care about the food, others not so much. I really enjoy when I get there on a day when it’s a cook in the back that enjoys cooking. I usually get the honey jerk wings plate with 3 sides.

Some days it’s really good. Other days the food tastes like leftovers from the night before. Not fresh or juicy at all. Burnt hard chicken wings that are hard to chew. And taste burnt.

The cabbage should be called carrots in my opinion because that’s all I see and taste and see in the cabbage. Although the carrots are really good. I wish I could have more cabbage than carrots.

The sweet potatoes are dry and tasteless. Not my cup of tea.

I recommend dining in. Kingston 10 rarely messes up when dining in. On the other hand if you grab something to go, check your food before you leave because they don’t care as much for to go orders. That’s when they try and give you old food.

I had the combination plate today with wings and ox tails. It was $25. Not worth it at all. I will not be returning. I’ve had enough of their games. It’s too expensive to be given old food. I’m tired of the hit or miss it’s too expensive for that. In this pic I ate one wing and one ox tail that was mostly fat. Smh I dnt even care to taste the sweet potatoes this time. Just wasted $25

I was introduced to this place at the Taste of St. Louis. This was the only restaurant that I went to before I left bc of the heat. (I should have went at night but next time). I got the jerk chicken and cabbage as my offering. My son and I demolished that food and my son is a picky eater.

I told him that we’ll go next time to their actual restaurant.

Today we did. Came into the establishment. Not a lot of people eating inside but a few more people getting orders to go.

I ordered the 3 wing jerk chicken and 3 sides (double cabbage and plantains). Got my order and went home. I could smell the sweetness of the plantains and the smokiness of the chicken. We got home and bashed it. It was so delicious. My son loved the food. He said, “This is bussin’”. 😂

I will go back to try other items. You guys have a regular for sure!
