Love this place. Their dipping sauce is the best. One word of precaution though: Do Not get the coleslaw! Two visits in a row their coleslaw tasted exactly like dish soap. Even smelled like soap. Since itās happened twice Iāll assume it doesnāt actually have soap in it and I have to figure some āsecretā ingredient or combination of ingredients in the recipe creates that taste. Unfortunately there isnāt much to substitute it for so itās just kind of a waste.
UPDATE: Went back tonight and out of morbid curiosity I got the coleslaw again just to see⦠and it tasted great! So Iām happy on the one hand but on the other hand now Iāve got to believe that it actually was hand soap that I tasted in the last two trips (which I guess is not that weird knowing that we go there often and they probably make a big batch) and itās possible I got two cups from the same batch. So moral to this story? Iām glad I spoke up and (hopefully) they threw out the old batch. But now more than ever I say, at least in the near term, definitely check the coleslaw before you eat it! Plus, considering this new revelation Iām down grading the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe live in Flower Mound so this location has been home base (or at least it was) for at least one weekly trip. In the last few months, weāve re-experienced the random tiny strips (about the size of my pointer finger) and meager portions of fries. This location had issues that the store manager, or possibly franchise owner, admitted was āsomething they struggled with and were addressing with their supplierā. But at least the strips were hot and fresh and the fries (while small portions) were crispy, hot and fresh. Not anymore. The last several visits weāve had room temp chicken fingers that appeared to have been sitting under a lamp for a while. And the fryās were also room temp and had clearly been sitting around for a while as well. Weāve observed that the quality control is MUCH better at other Raising Canes locations (like the Lewisville high school store). If the fingers are small, they add another finger before they call your name. And the fryās are always hot, crispy and fresh. Whatās happened at this location? Pride of ownership clearly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is consistently the worst run location of Caneās. I can guarantee that the order will be completely wrong about 60 percent of the time. Save yourself a lot of heartache and just avoid this location. Counting chicken strips should be easy but not at this location. They have managers and staff that are unable to count. Perhaps AI will allow them to count properly in the future. If you care at all about details such as number of chicken strips and sauces and concepts such as sweet vs unsweet tea, you will have to avoid this pile of garbage location as they decide what you get rather than you being able to choose what you get. Weird concept at this location because they give you whatever they feel like giving you. You canāt decide. They decide for you. Odd but that is their strategy. I am going to contact corporate office and ask that they shut this location down until they can find people who know...
