F&F Japanese grill — Restaurant in Highland Village

I’m a regular and they don’t even recognize me or the same order I place all the time which is VERY specific. I’m not greeted when I walk in expect this time a sweet young girl was the nicest I’ve ever had at F&F . I come back because the food is truly good but the issue is they don’t know how to fix issues when they occur nor is SIRACHA ( the girl that always has a AirPod in her ear ) she always messes up on my order. I’m not sure if she has an issue with me or what but he customer service is ABSOLUTELY terrible. She never apologized for her mistakes that she caused. The boss isn’t the nicest but he does his job very well. I will still come back to F&F because I love the food particularly at this location but that siracha girl should be demoted or placed in another line of business because customer service isn’t for her and she also treated me like this while her boss was gone. EDITED TO ADD: after reading the Resturants reply I have this to say. There’s a big difference between crispy and overcook. This wasn’t just crispy chicken that I definitely love and would’ve been happy with. No this was practically petrified. This was like the consistency and texture of jerky for a lack of better description. It looks good on the outside and the flavor was good and it smelled good. But as I mentioned in my original review, the pictures do not literally do it justice. It was absolutely stringy overcooked chicken jerky.

The food overall had great flavor and looks great. My chicken however was so over cooked it was practically chicken jerky. Very hard to chew. Dried out and almost inedible. This location is by far the worst location. The young ladies that were working today 11/1/25 act like giving one more sauce would cost them their job. Then they got our order wrong-the steak and shrimp bowl ended up being steak and chicken.

Since we ordered to go, once gettin home to actually eat, there is a longggggg black hair in my food. Which I know wasn’t mine because 1. I have curly hair, and 2. It was at the bottom of my food in my noodles. They wear hats but I’m sure they should be required to wear hair nets as well.

Disappointing forsure and unacceptable . I know if I were to call and say what has happened, it would be dismissed as “oh well,you ordered to go so can’t help ya!” .. dispute forsure ….
