I recently visited this Venezuelan gem, and I must say, the food completely exceeded my expectations! I had the chance to try their burger, cachapa, and a perrito, and each dish was packed with flavor and authenticity.

The burger was a standout—juicy, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with traditional Venezuelan toppings like crispy potato sticks and tangy sauces that elevated the whole experience. The cachapa, a sweet corn pancake filled with gooey queso de mano, was absolutely divine. The combination of sweetness and creaminess was unlike anything I’ve tried before. As for the perrito (Venezuelan hot dog), it was fun and indulgent, topped with all the classic fixings, from cabbage to cheese, and the signature sauces that made every bite a delight.

This Venezuelan restaurant is a true treasure! I had the pleasure of trying the arepa cabimera and the parrilla mixta, and both dishes left me completely impressed.

The arepa cabimera was perfection—a soft, warm arepa stuffed with a generous combination of shredded chicken, beef, and a creamy avocado-based sauce that tied all the flavors together beautifully. It was filling, flavorful, and a perfect representation of Venezuelan street food.

The parrilla mixta was equally spectacular—a sizzling platter of grilled meats, including juicy steak, chicken, and sausages, served with sides like yucca, plantains, and a tangy chimichurri sauce. Every bite was bursting with smokiness and seasoning that showcased the chef’s skill.

I cannot praise this place enough and I really wish I could give it at least 2-3 more stars. I went in not knowing what to expect and was completely blown away by the amazing food. I ordered 1 camaron, 1 cazon, and 1 carne mechada empanadas and every single one was amazing. The first thing that stood out was the dough being flaky but not oily from the frying process (turns out corn based dough that is used in Venezuela doesn't soak up oil like flour based dough). I wish I spoke Spanish so I could have better communicated with the person taking my order but they understood exactly what I wanted and helped me out so so much. The cazon empanada was soooo ridiculously delicious that it is more than enough reason for me to come back and I live 30-40 minutes away (not to mention the empanadas are big with two easily being able to fill up most people). I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. This is a tucked away "must-try" gem in the lewisville area. Don't pass...
