J. Christopher's — Restaurant in Flowery Branch

I think I’d have to agree with most of the reviews here.

The wait staff was quick and always helpful. No issues there!!

The food looked and tasted like it was from iHop, which isn’t bad, but I was expecting something a little nicer.

What brought down the stars were the hostesses. I work in food and retail, so I know some days are not the best, but holy cow have I never felt so unwelcome by an establishment. I would’ve left after my experiences with the hostesses, but we had already waited 30 minutes.

When we first walked in, we were greeted by the most dull, boring, sad-faced girl with a dead “hi how many.” Then we were put on the waiting list and got our call back in 30 minutes later. We walk back in to meet up with the original host who had helped us, and she showed us to our table.

Then, another host (manager? woman in black&red flannel) came up to our table and asked us if we were on the waiting list. I tried to say “yes, she just called us back in” and was actually cut off by the woman and said “k sorry what’s the name?” Then walked away. I watch her apologize to the hostess that had seated us but uh, didn’t hear back from her. Was just very off putting, after that I really didn’t wanna be there.

When we left, the hostesses glared at us. I said “thanks!” and waved. More stares.

You’ll get better service...

I have never been to J Christopher's but my daughter surprised me with a delivery on mother's day. I was so disappointed. She spent $60.00 on a breakfast spread for us and the order we received was wrong, wrong, wrong. Instead of blueberry crumble cakes we got 2 blueberry crepes with about 5 blueberries tossed inside of each and 2 packages of maple syrup. She had ordered strawberry crepes which were not included in the delivery at all. She ordered a parfait which we can't tell if that was a parfait or whip cream and blueberries for the crepes. The potatoes were excellent, they got 2 stars. The 2 small pieces of bacon that sat under a hot lamp were so hard they were inedible.

We called the restaurant as soon as the order was delivered to let them know it was wrong. I was willing to drive out to pick up the missing and incorrect items. No one answered the phone. We left a message and didn't get a...

very odd experience first I came in wanting to just sit in and enjoy the space, so I asked and the waitress seemed very perplexed at a very normal question, looked at me like i was crazy and she sat me down gave me a menu even though I didn’t want to order anything, asked me if i was sure?? i was so uncomfortable to the point where i bought a drink out of nervousness.. peer pressure is what it felt like. After I received the drink I did not want, I tried to sit and enjoy but i’m receiving glares from the manager neither did she say a thing to me nor did she greet me which to me gave weirdo. after about twenty minutes of being there I couldn’t stand it any longer no one made me feel welcomed I’m getting weird stares from grown people. which you would think if there’s a problem say something right?? but people are weird and that was my last time ever going...
