They went up on their price and are closed on Monday. This is my favorite Chinese Restuarant. The staff is friendly. The food is good. The price is reasonable. I wish they had discounts for military and seniors. The vegetable plates are my favorite. That is, my vegetable plate prepared from selections from the buffet. They have shrimp and crawfish on the buffet. I tried it once and it tasted very good, but it was very very messy peeling the shrimp and crawfish. I had to wash my hands again after finishing peeling those. The ice cream is a treat that I do not partake every visit. Miss Emily, my server today said that the ice cream is non-dairy. I should have inquired how, but I was interested in the jello and if it was sugar free. She did not think so. Their buffet never serm to change, except for the shrimp and crawfish which can be seasonal.

Hunan is a timeless classic in Foley. After over 30 years dining here, they still do an amazing job. The staff is very friendly, and you get way more than you pay for. Their buffet is hot, fresh and full of variety. You can get the buffet to go and fill your box up as much as you want for $8. Also, if you decide to order from the menu and take it to go, the box will be overflowing. What an amazing value. In Foley, there are very few businesses that have remained the same since I was a kid... Hunan is one that has been in the same spot all these years. There really is a lot to be said for a local small business like that to have stood the test of time in a city that developed as fast as Foley.

Best keep secret in Foley. Consistently great! I’ve been eating here for 33 years. Discovered it the night before my oldest son was born. They have a very popular buffet but TRY the menu items, they’re amazing! I get take out at least 2x a month. More than you can eat and worth 2 x what you’ll pay, eat for days!! We had: Moo Goo Gai Pan, Fried Boneless Chicken w/ Chinese Vegetables, Shrimp fried Rice, 6 egg rolls $38 w tax. Love this place and their people!! Thanks Yan!! The photos are what’s leftover after 2 people have already eaten. Enjoy!

We used to visit this restaurant every Friday night as a family. The food was always fresh, and they would refill their Buffay up until 30 minutes before closing. We used to look forward to our Friday night Hunan’s.

The last four times we have been there, even though it’s been well before closing, there is nothing left on the buffet table. What is left, looks fossilized. Even the crawfish look like mummies.

The staff has also become very rude. As soon as we walk in, theyAct like they get mad and tell us to check the buffet table before we sit down, Because after we see it, we may not want to eat there. Who does that?

Where is the old Hunan’s restaurant, Where the food was always fresh, and the staff was so friendly, offering to cook something fresh within a reasonable amount of time before closing. Tonight we started calling them at 7 PM to order a takeout. they did not answer the phone on a Friday night. When we got there and there was no food on the buffet, at 8 PM, one hour before closing; they told us we may want to check the buffet table first. We asked to order something off the menu,, and they said the kitchen was closed.

What was once, to our family, the best place to eat on a Friday night has become horrid. We will never eat there again. What a shame! We are also business owners and will tell all of our patrons not to eat there either. We would love to see our old Friday night Hunan come back, under new management that...

Took my son to grab lunch, my mother went inside with us as well. My son is 2 years old, it was lunch hours, he should have been 2 bucks. My mother didn't eat a bite, she had a sweet tea, I did eat. So that would be 1 adult, 1 child. I went to pay, and they completely stole my money. Charged me $22, for my 2 year old son, and myself. Now after seeing my receipt, i asked them how much a 2 year old cost to eat, they said $2.00. So I asked them why was I charged $22.00 for my son and I to eat lunch. They had the audacity to tell me they witnessed my mother eating, when in fact the same day she had a full root canal done, and couldn't chew anything. When I explained this, they proceeded to get nasty towards me. However, their food sucked horribly, and my son's chicken was still partially raw. I will never spend our money here again, 1 star rating is still more than...
