Exceptionally good service! The staff were very nice and quick. And, everything was very clean. Most importantly, though, the food was delicious! I didn't order what I normally do, which is so much food the server is like "that's too much food," š but! What I did get was delicious. I got the chicken Bahn mi and the pork and shrimp spring rolls. My 12 year old niece got the shrimp fried rice, which is basically the "Chinese" food that most Americans are used to. They had a few menu items like that, which was nice because my niece didn't know what to get, even though I suggested a few things and told her she would love whatever she ordered š I don't think she has had Vietnamese food before... which is crazy because she lives in an ethnically diverse area and her mom is my twin sister lol! (I always eat it - I can't stay away) The chicken was juicy and flavorful and so good! I think the sandwich could have used more pickled onions and carrots than it had, but it was still very good. And even though i ordered it Spicy, the jalapeƱos weren't. (That isn't their fault though, because with jalapeƱos, you never know if it's going to be Spicy enough or not. Some jalapeƱos are spicy, and some aren't. That why I always buy serranos. They are always spicy!) The bread was really good too, I finished every bite. The spring rolls were as they should have been - crunchy, fresh, and flavorful! I don't dip my rolls in the peanut sauce. I use Sriracha; it's so good that way. So, I didn't try the sauce. My niece loved the rice. With her first bite she made the noises and faces of someone truly enjoying their food. And, as we were leaving she said "that restaurant is sooooo good!" Anyway, I just found Pho Mimi because I was in the area for my daughter's track competition. But, I hope to go back soon š I want to try the pho! I loooooove pho! There were several people there eating some, and it was 11am! They also had a couple traditional Vietnamese breakfast items (that's what the sign said)! I really wanted to try that. But, we were in such a hurry š£ If you're in the area, you should try it out, you won't be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNeeded a quick lunch, got a pork banh mi and the Vietnamese chicken salad, both great. The sandwich had the regular veggies, crunchy and fresh, as well as lots of pork. The salad was about half onion (yet somehow not too oniony), half cabbage along with some fresh spices and a baggie of puffs, very fresh and good. I was happy to have the liquid at the bottom of the salad to dip my sandwich in because the bread was a lil hard. They said it would take 15 minutes but it was ready for me when I got there 10 minutes later. Friendly service. Place was nice inside but empty when I was there around 11:15. Fyi - the name on caller ID is different from the store name. And, like every other place, the pics of the menu online are way...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe broth was okay on both of the pho dishes that I ordered. The broth on the special pho was a little too sweet for my taste. Meanwhile, the lemongrass flavor didnāt really come through with the beef lemongrass pho. Both broths were unfortunately lacking flavor. Also kinda disappointed that the egg rolls didnāt come with the traditional dipping sauce, they served the dish with sweet chili instead. The banh mi was okay, I think it can be improved by adding more of the pickled vegetables since there were very little in the sandwich. Was very stoked to try this spot because of all the other great reviews but pretty disappointed overall. Willing to give it another try and hopefully itāll be...
