Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Fond du Lac

I have come to the fond du lac store multiple times now. And there are times where all the employees help each other out and work very well together. And then there are days when they are telling back and forth at one another every one is doing something different and they are not working together. Today I came into the fond du lac store and when the employee asked me what I wanted, I said "a giant on rosemary parm with chicken back ranch" I expected to be asked if I wanted everything that was listed on it and what not. Instead he rushed and gave my order slip to the female employee worked at the "hot station" behind him. Then he rushed down to the cash register and checked me out. I wait for my sub to be done and given to the "toppings station" since I wasn't asked what else I wanted on my sub. But nope.... All of a sudden I was given my sub all wrapped up to go. I spoke up and told the female employee that I never said what I wanted on my sub besides the meat..... She said "well if you don't speak up we just put everything that's listed on the board on it". I was like uhhhh what! I could have been allergic to one of those things.... And I HATE tomatoes! So she asks "well what do you want on it then" and I say just a little lettuce and the juice. Then she goes " next time just tell the person who takes you order". I don't say anything and just take my sub and leave. Oh my god this sub was hands-down the best sub I’ve ever had in my life and I ain’t over exaggerating at all it was no microwaves used this was cooked man to order one I ordered it on the stove and the meat was just delicious it was thick cut fresh veggies and melted gooey cheese was just phenomenal I can’t say enough about this place you have to try it I got the number 42 which is a chipotle steak and cheese and I added jalapeños bacon and lettuce it was absolutely the most incredibly delicious thing I have eaten and so long that I can’t even remember anything that is better than us I am telling you you have to go here and you might as well get the biggest one they have because if you get the small one it’s just not enough you’ll be right back there to get more if they had more than five stars I would give them more this place needs an extra star because it’s that good I promise you if you like subs you have to go here once you eat here you will never go anywhere else for sub ever again I promise you that picture does not do it justice and that is only half of it I had already eaten half of it before I took the picture I was just so impressed and it was so good I could not stop eating it to take a picture that’s why you only got half the sub in the...

On the first visit, we arrived to pick up food.We were told that they were out of wheat bread so they substituted white bread and asked if it was ok. I did say not really. I am diabetic so I do not eat white bread. I said a phone call would have been nice. Then one of the ladies with black butterflies for eyelashes, said, " It's just bread ". My daughter flipped at this lack of respect. It went down hill from there. Didn't matter it was a health issue. AND, this chick walked off throwing her apron to the floor and came around the counter like she was going to start a fight! This did not de-escalate the situation. ** During this situation, the shift manager was in the back and only observed the end of the situation which by this time resembled an episode of Jersey Shore. After I was home, I called the store and spoke to him. I have to say, he listened calmly, was very nice and very understanding. He agreed the staff did not handle the situation well.
