Bon Appetit Pizzeria — Restaurant in Fontana

I'm kinda torn between 3 or 4 stars but I'm gonna go with 4. On my drive home from picking up my kids, I see this place every day. Finally I decided to give it a try. I saw several specials posted on the window, including a 5 dollar large pizza. Golden Pizza is located in a corner strip mall with plenty of parking.

The place has a large lobby, they even sell thrifty ice cream . There was 1 guy working and he was taking orders and making orders. For what I ordered, 2 large pepperoni pizzas and 20 wings, 25 bucks is a good price. Dude said it would be about 10 minutes and sure enough, it took about 10 minutes. Off I went back home to feed the fam.

Everybody liked the pizza, they kept asking me where I got it from. The wings weren't for me but they messed up that part of my order. I asked for 10 plain and 10 bbq. When I got home I found that I received 10 plain and 10 hot. Boooooooo, they were doing so good lol. The pizza was better than most I've tried in Fontana, unfortunately I didn't try the wings so I can't tell you...

So I ordered a Hawaiian pizza which comes topped with ham and pineapples. There were options to add toppings so I added BACON. When my pizza arrived it was topped with ham, pineapples and UNCOOKED TURKEY BACON. I immediately thought that maybe they ran out of REAL bacon. I tried to pick off the turkey bacon and eat it anyways but there were still pieces of it underneath the cheese. I was so irritated and disgusted that I just threw the remaining pizza in the garbage. At least give people the option, instead of tricking them into thinking they are getting real bacon. I will NEVER order from this place again. And if you DONT USE PORK PRODUCTS it should’ve been clarified when I ordered BACON on my pizza. And if the turkey bacon was cooked it wouldn’t of been that bad but it was just chopped up Raw and thrown on top of my pizza. Still never ordering here again. Oh and by the...

When I was a kid back in the day my parents made a decision to us out to Fontana in 1984 when their was nothing out here. Wine Vineyards and orange fields were out here and when 7-Eleven was on the other side of the Fwy. Alcapons Grandmother's is off Palmetto Ave, where Golden Pizza is at was just a empty dirt lot before.That's how far back I remember, my wife and I with our young daughter just moved back to Fontana about 2 months ago ago. We came from the High Desert where we lived for 18 years. My mom passed away due to covid-19 almost a year ago and it has been very difficult and hard.
