Recently went with my mom and sisters to eat because my mother has been out of the country for nearly a month and really wanted to eat good Mexican food. We order and everything is fine until we receive our food and my mother notices that her order is wrong and if they could fix it. The older gentleman who was dressed in all black that was also servicing us snatched my mom's plate right from in front of her in a very aggressive manner and takes it to the window that divides the cashier's and cooks. He asks the cooks if the order is wrong they say it isn't and basically tell my mom that she is wrong. My mother knowing that that food isn't what she ordered nor what she wanted reexplained that it was infact wrong at this point the older gentleman seems annoyed and demands to see a receipt from my mom. My mom although sometimes can be ditzy is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and the way that this man was treating her was unacceptable to me and my sisters. They finally fix the order because again they got it wrong, after it was all settled and we started to eat the whole atmosphere in the restaurant change and the staff became distant and uninvolved with us almost as if they wanted us to hurry up and leave. We were all very uncomfortable and felt unwanted during our entire meal. As soon as we finished we hurried up and left because if they don't want us there then fine we'll leave. All we wanted to do was celebrate my mom coming back home, but all we got was the cold shoulder and a very uncomfortable time.
Don't get me wrong the food was good, but it's not worth the very rude...

La Tapatia Mexican Grill is hands-down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels like home. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure you have a great meal.
The food? Next-level amazing. Every dish bursts with authentic Mexican flavor — fresh ingredients, perfect seasoning, and portions that leave you more than satisfied. Their tortillas taste like they were made moments before serving, and every bite of the carne asada was tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection.
The presentation is beautiful, the flavors are bold yet balanced, and the salsa has just the right kick to keep you coming back for more. Whether it’s a casual lunch, a family dinner, or a celebration with friends, La Tapatia delivers every single time.
If you want authentic Mexican cuisine that’s made with love and served with a smile, this is the place. La Tapatia isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a flavor-packed experience you’ll remember long after your plate is clean.

Read moreWent here on a weekend with my boyfriend because I was craving Mexican food. Not in the best part of the city because it's near South Fontana, but don't let that stop you from this place because it has some good, cheap, delicious food! The place itself is actually well up-kept with TV, the fancy Coke dispenser that carries many different sodas, agua frescas, and an overall clan environment. There is a charm to this place, and I like it! The cashier that helped us was very welcoming and friendly, as well as patient since it was our first time here and had a hard time picking from the many choices they had.
Food came out pretty quick and the food was just delicious. My boyfriend ordered the classic burrito and said it was one of the best burritos he had in a while and the aqua frescas were so refreshing, it hit the spot! I ordered nachos and the chile relleno enchilada, both good. You get to order a side of meat with the nachos and the carnitas I ordered with it was bomb.
The nice cashier asked us how the meals were before we left and thanked us. With great food, staff, and service, we'll definitely stop here again to the La Tapatia...
