Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Fontana

This is not your normal popeyes, I won't be back to this one. I ordered 3 items and got 2 BBQ sauces so I asked for an extra one. I've never had issues with sauces at other popeyes, part of the appeal is tasting the different sauces.

The guy working there approaches me and tells me they are 25 cents and then walks away to do more orders. I assume that was his way of saying no, go away? So I stay there until he looks at me again and ask him for 2 more sauces, takes my money, and brings me the receipt. Apparently he charged me for 2 creamy gravy on the register. So I asked the manager why the charge on my receipt didn't say sauces and she tells me it's the button they use on the register... so a made up charge and lying on their sales.

I could care less about the 50 cents if it was a standard practice at the chain... but this is not normal. Their penny pinching has earned them a bad review and one less customer. Go to a real popeyes somewhere else for...

First the food is overpriced and the quality has went from hero to zero. The strips are so thin they are more crust than chicken. My strips were barely even warm. They were also dry. They used to have the best gravy bar none. My gravy was so watered down it had no flavor. So I exchanged my 2nd mash potatoes for Cole slaw it was also watered down no flavor. Seems like to save money and keep profits they are sacrificing the quality of their food. For what their food cost sorry Popeyes I expect way more. Popeyes is now officially off my list of places to eat. Not the first time my chicken was barley warm. But there gravy is what kept me going back. Now that's water. Bye Popeyes so done. Canes is way better...

It was okay. The place was clean. Customer service was meh. They need customer service skills training. When I stepped to the register I was not greeted with a "Welcome to Popeyes", "Hi! How can I help you?", nothing of the sorts, just a blank stare. Being the person I am, I said "Hello!" No response. Young man kept staring. So I started a slight laugh and proceeded to order. He handed me the receipt and stated my number. I said, "Thank you." and waited for my order. Of course no response 😫 Short wait cause everything seemed to be already cooked. My mother-in-law said she enjoyed it. It was for her. But she's not overly picky...so I can only assume it...
