How many bad employees does it take to lose a customer for life? Just one! Door Dash did nothing to help. So then I called the store. A woman with an accent answered the phone. All I got to say was my order was wrong. Then she proceeded to be evasive and not try to be helpful at all. Over and over she would cut me off and attempt to get off the phone. So I asked for a manager. The woman then lies and says the manager wasn’t there. Brushing me off the phone. She was rude. Making excuses why she can’t help me and wouldn’t allow me explain myself, then consciously hangs up on me. How can a restaurant at dinner time not have a manager on duty. All they had to do was correct my order. Unacceptable! They lost a regular customer. With Door Dash my average order a week was $30 with tip.. You can see it’s missing the other toppings and sauce. Check my recipe, it shows cheeseburger. It doesn’t say any special instructions for it to be plain.
UPDATE Door Dash refunded me $3.85 what a joke. Check the picture. I got screwed both ways. Bad business I expect that from Door Dash. But not from Tam’s
Even if Tam’s food was the cure to cancer and I’m dying from cancer. I would much rather die. I don’t need to be disrespected for a meal and I don’t need to be hoodwinked for it. How I got treated from your employee was horrible and unnecessary, perhaps like my analogy. But I can’t help it, I was very offended. Restaurant establishments are in the business of hospitality and this was the complete opposite of hospitable. Remember this started as a mistake and error that surely happens, but escalated. All because someone made one mistake in preparation of the meal and one person followed it up with making it worse. I would say this establishment needs to retrain their employees to begin with and apologize! I truly hope not all Tam’s locations have problematic staff members like the Fontana location. This is the worst Tam’s location I have given my business to and the best location would be the Ontario location. Also the Rancho Cucamonga location always has the warmest welcome. Read moreSo it all started that I went to this Tams on foothill blvd Fontana San Bernardino county I went to the drive through I never felt so rush like halfways through my order the lady was taking my order she told me to pull forward when I wasn’t clearly wasn’t done yet and when I was trying to plead with her that I wasn’t done she still tell me to pull forward so for sake of argument I did and then she’s giving me attitude asking me if I’m done and when I told no ask her why did she ask me to pull forward she didn’t answer and I ask her if there any menu that she could give me cause I don’t know the menu on the back of my head she said she doesn’t have any that’s when I ask her if I could back up and look at the menu again she said yes and I did and completed my order and request to see a manager she said there’s no manager there at that time and I guess there’s no manager at that tams around 7 she said only to call in the morning to request a manager so I let it go cause my fiancé and I were hungry having to come home she messed up our order and my financé is a picky eater so he refuse to eat it and he doesn’t like taking food back and when I looked at my receipt there’s no name and it so I don’t know who’s working that day could be a ghost word of caution when you are arriving around 7 the ghost...

Lets face it ... we all are on edge . Especially with the Covid19 virus protocols all restaurants must adhere to.
My concerns come from the elderly woman who was assembling my completed order. I asked for particular condiments and chili peppers only to receive an attitude and a lack of eye contact during my conversation with her ...... as if, she was annoyed ( ??? )
Obviously this business was overwhelmed with cars in the drive-thru . Thus , the reason I chose to go inside and order. Much to my disappointment .... I received the same , if not similar treatment my daughters and wife experienced on different occasions .
Customer service is important to me and I expect an improvement at my next visit by giving this employee the benefit of the doubt .
