I absolutely love this place! I’ve always stepped in so excited and left with such a good mood the rest of the day! The blueberry fritters are my favorite, and the first apple fritter my husband had here almost made him cry thinking of the ones from home (NH). I always love this guy’s mood and over all vibe! I love the aesthetic of this place and it sounds silly but my absolute favorite part is the free stickers! I always walk away with a hand full of quirky stickers to decorate my work binder or water bottle which always give me another few moments to relive the happiness this place makes me feel every time I go. I came from Washington to live here in Oregon last year and have been looking around for a good doughnut shop. I've been to Voodoo Doughnuts and they're okay, just fancy, creative frosting, but the doughnuts are just okay. I've tried Krispie Cream (no thank you) and quite a few others. None of them hold up to Pacific Doughnuts. I was amazed at how large the fritters were (apple and blueberry) and I couldn't wait to eat them before I had a chance to take a picture, with the doughnut almost melting in my mouth. Pure delicious heaven on my tongue. The dough is soft and scrumptious! The shop is cute but very small, so it's take-out only (hence 4 stars instead of 5). The baker is friendly and nice. Amazing! Honestly, I've eaten thousands of donuts in my life, and these beauties from Pacific Donuts are perfection. They are so light and fluffy that they basically melt on the tongue. This is true for both raised and cake versions. (Pro tip: if you are like me and always buy more than you can eat in a day, the cake Donuts freeze really well.) I love everything I tried, but I especially recommend the maple Bigfoot. The shop is adorable, and the service is always genuine and very friendly. Maybe it's a good thing this place is half an hour away from my home, because I never miss a chance to visit and stock up. Perhaps the biggest bonus is that everything here is vegan.
