I like supporting local businesses. I've been to Pizza Schmizza before but it had been a long time. I noticed they served beer and wine so when I spotted a partially full container of orange juice I asked if they served mimosas. A simple, "I'm sorry but we do not" would have been a standard and polite response. Instead I got "no we don't and that's my husband's". Well I guess get your half used OJ out of the beer cooler. Then while we were ordering I heard the husband say something to my boys who had rattled some of the turn dials on the candy machines to see if anything would come out and I think my 12 year old may have gotten on or attempted to get on the 25 cent horse ride. What I heard was "hey, knock it off". I couldn't get my boys to confirm until after we left that he had meant it for them. I'm sure my kids aren't the only ones that have ever tried turning dials on a candy dispenser to see if anything would come out and besides I don't appreciate helpy helpers trying to tell my kids what to do. He could have just said could you please leave the machines alone unless your buying something or better yet could have said something to my wife or I and we would have handled it. The last thing was while we were eating a lady that was dining bad said something about a cheese stick order she was waiting for. Initially the gal working there seemed truly apologetic and told her she'd get them right away. Then about 3 strides away from the table she turned and said "I thought you already got your order" and it was in an accusatory tone. I was stunned. Needless to say when she left and they said goodbye the door slammed without a word from her. Coincidentally, when I walked out, I did the exact same thing. Its really unfortunate for it to have been a local businesses that we are choosing to no longer support. The people that work there which may or may not be the owners know very little about how to treat people which is commonly referred to as customer service and customer...

The best pizza place ever!!!! I've always have an amazing time going in and saying hi to the staff behind the counter!! With only 2 people at times they miraculously handle rush hour with no problem and without a hint of stress.
The cheese and pepperoni pizzas are definitely great tasting classics! And 2 combo style pizzas that makes you want more!! When the pizza is served it comes super hot but bearable enough to eat, the perfect pizza temp! As well as a satisfying crunch in each slice. Although sometimes certain spots of the pizza don't give it that same crunch, which makes no sense since it's cooked and reheated in an oven!!
Not only do you get great Pizza but also the best service!! There is always someone to serve you inside and most of the time they bus your table at the perfect time. For a fast food place this definitely me to have restaurant style service.
I could go on, but this is a must stop place no matter what and had it's own charisma compared to other...
Read moreWe stopped by Pizza Schmizza after a round of golf this week. Having visited many Pizza Schmizza franchises in Oregon over the past 30 years, I can confidently say the slice of Genoa was the best I've ever had.
The owner also offers a Greek salad, which I plan to try and review next week. The decor was incredibly intriguing, featuring bowling balls and pins on the wall and a bicycle rickshaw hanging above our table. To top it off, they even have my favorite arcade game from my youth, which added a wonderful touch of nostalgia.
The wide assortment of bottled and canned sodas added to the charm, reminding me of days gone by when that was the norm. It was retro, enjoyable, and intriguing, and the slices were the best the company has to offer. You have a customer for...
