::UPDATE::
I knew they would fix the mistake, they had a cook in training that week. So I brought it from 4 star's to 5! The food is the best, combo A an B. I miss they're combo C with pork egg foo young. Thanks Ming, South North cooks an staff
Got my togo order an find out soon as it got here, that our combo A + B are completely dry.. the chicken doesn't have the peanut sauce on it, the prawns an my sweet sour pork don't have any sweet sour sauce on it.. disappointing, since everyone knows Chinese food ain't good without it.. it's now sitting in the fridge.. calling them in the morning to see if they replace the order.. the food hear is great the best... This is the 1st time I've had a order wrong.. I think they meant to put a sweet sour in the bag but instead got an extra egg for soup. But that don't explain my Chicken. Cause it's still without the peanut sauce...C'mon Ming? Lol 4 star's this time since I know the good an service is the best! Minus a star until it gets fixed.. I was really expecting a Great meal. Thought I wouldn't have to cook Tonite.. living over an hour from...
Read moreIf this rating were just based on the food, it would have been just about 4.5 stars. There were two servers and it wasn't busy at all yesterday evening. One of them sat in a booth and made a phone call. Everyone could hear as she described how sick she felt, chills and sore throat, while coughing loudly. COVID / flu symptoms. A few minutes later she brings our food, no mask or anything. And continued to interact with other customers. This is how disease is spread people! She used foul language several times when there was children at one booth, and discussed tips with the other server. Not appropriate. Also, we're told our entrees (beef and broccoli) don't come with any rice which is odd, and we get charged another $7+ for adding that. So two entrees come to just under $40 which is way more than we'd pay in the Portland metro area for the same dishes. It was quite good, but I'm sad to say the service experience was downright scary and I'm hoping we don't come home...
Read moreJust as a frame of reference I'm from Chicago so I have had exposure to really good food. I was in Forks for a week so I had the chance to try several places in town. I think this restaurant is probably the best tasting option within 30-40 miles to Port Angeles. It's also nice to be able to get some vegetables vs just burgers and fries. The combo meals are big enough for 2 people to split- it's a lot of food. The lo mein was a bit strange because they're using spaghetti noodles but it was still tasty. The hot and sour soup does have some heat past Midwestern spicy. The Mongolian chicken was not spicy but I thought it would be after reading other reviews. It's not though. All items were tasty.
I didn't see any of the problems other reviews had so maybe that has been fixed. I had a...
