Ok I'll start off with the basics.

Room is gorgeous. It's one of the nicest places I've rented in a while. You won't be unhappy here.

Reserved parking right next to the room, plentifally stocked kitchen (dishes, utensils etc), beautiful dishes and cookware, comfy beds, coffee provided in room, nice cook top, excellent climate control etc.

Now this being said, if you have a family, I would suggest finding a different place. Not because it's a bad place to stay, it's just one of the more stressful places to stay.

The lobby (which was a HUGE reason I booked here) is closed due to covid until the "pandemic is over". Even the politicians and those making money off the pandemic have decided covid is over.

No breakfast for $350 a night. A motel 6 at $80 provides breakfast (but obviously a much lesser room).

Another huge stress factor. You don't see the note about the towels until the next morning unless you scour the room when you first arrive.

Did I miss a dish that I'll get charged for? Did I put a towel on the floor I'll be charged for? Did I accidentally get a drop of anything other than water on the wrong towel that I'll get charged for?

I would definitely recommend this place, just beware of what you're getting into and realize that if you're not perfect, you have a chance of...

I had one of the worst experiences of my life at this hotel and I do not recommend it to anyone. Before my stay, I ordered some products online and had them delivered to the hotel, as I’ve done many times during my travels abroad. When I arrived and looked for my packages, they were nowhere to be found. After a lot of persistence and discomfort, I discovered that Mary, the owner of the hotel, had OPENED my packages and taken them to her house. Yes, she violated my mail without any reason!

When finally confronted, Mary returned with the opened packages, without offering any explanation or apology. Instead of taking responsibility and apologizing, she got angry and tried to blame me for the incident, even going as far as calling her husband to argue with me. It was an absolutely surreal situation. Instead of solving the problem, I was treated with complete disrespect and unprofessionalism. I ended up having to apologize for their mistake!

This is the kind of place no one should stay at. The violation of privacy and the abusive, authoritarian behavior from Mary and her husband is unacceptable. Stay away from this hotel—it’s not worth...

I stayed here for 3 nights in May 2024 while hiking in the Olympic National Park. The location is super convenient for access to Coastal Trails (e.g. Second Beach) as well as the Hoh rainforest. It’s also close (across the street) from grocery stores and restaurants. The lodges/cabins are luxurious and really well maintained. They are modern, clean, freshly painted and well decorated. There is plenty of storage/luggage space, lounging space, breakfast nook etc. The beds are super comfortable with firm, supportive mattress. The kitchen has every utility you can think of (except a toaster), well equipped with what you would need if you wanted to cook during your stay. Bathrooms are clean, roomy and the towels are divine! I also loved the soap collection, it was quite unique and fragrant vs usual hotel collections. Lots of small details, like separate set of towels to clean counters, shoes etc.; no contact check-in, full-size mirrors etc. just added to the overall convenience and amenities. Highly recommend, especially considering the other options around this small town which do not seem anywhere close to...

WOW! These cabins are super comfortable. They may look like a cabin on the outside but inside you will find a modern comfortable space that will make your stay in Forks memorable. Brand new with all the finer touches you, won’t find a better place to stay anywhere in the state. The fireplace creates a beautiful ambiance and beds are so comfortable you will hate to leave them. The front porch is a perfect place to sit and unwind from a day hiking the trail. The hosts are incredible and treat you like family! Need a trail recommendation, they will draw you a map to an incredible beach. Cooking something special and they will help with just the right cookware. Even the cook top is state of the art induction style. Private parking for easy loading and unloading. Fast internet and Direct TV. The cleaning is top notch and the place was spotless! I travel full time and this was simply one of the nicest places I have ever stayed.

"Super cute!!" That was the consensus of the three ladies in my group. Woodland Inns does very good when compared to other small town cottage-type 'boutique' motels. The rooms/cottages are roomy, comfortable, clean, new/remodeled, and are tasteful in appearance. We stayed 2 nights and had two queen beds that were semi-firm and comfortable. The kitchenette has two stovetop elements for cooking and a microwave (no regular oven). There is a nice full size tub in the bathroom. The towels were clean and new enough. Good lighting, good water pressure. No cigarette smells. Alexa in every room. Overall, very good. Issues: - Cable TV went out after 30 minutes and never returned. - WiFi was slow (2.1 mb/s 1st night, 9.8 mb/s 2nd night.) - Front desk isn't 'manned' in evening. - Bathroom door is one of those loose sliding barndoors, and doesn't provide the modesty/privacy some may prefer. Highly Recommended.
