A solid burger joint with amazing service and some slamming shakes. Stopped in here after a hike a long hike in the Olympic National Park and was absolutely famished and was really looking for something both hearty and healthy!! In this area, the options were quite slim considering the fact that there were maybe three other restaurants in this town. So we decided to take a shot at this establishment and I am so happy that we did!!!!
So outside looks super cute, very old school 80's vibe and the interior is the same, it's nothing fancy but the hospitality and service were stellar compared to any of the top restaurants. The staff had that super sweet western charm and helped us navigate the entire menu and was super friendly as we took forever to decide what to eat!
I ordered the vegetarian burger, which is not my first ever but honestly, I really hoped this veggie burger would be my last. This is hands down my FAVORITE of all time veggie pattie, it honestly tasted like it was a homemade pattie that was absolutely perfect! The dressings were simple: onion, tomato, and onions. I can't pinpoint what it was but the patty was just fantastic, both juicy from the mixture of veggies and also perfectly crispy exterior.
My friend ordered a double cheeseburger and although I didn't taste, I could tell that it was very juicy and it was stacked really high. If I wasn't on a vegetarian kick I really wished I ordered a double cheeseburger with bacon.
Finally, the best part is that these amazing burgers were so affordable!! I was shocked by how affordable everything was to a point where I literally considered ordering more food just because it was so affordable!!! Our meals with a side of french fries (with cheese- of course) and two burgers and two drinks was maybe 25 bucks? That is literally unheard of, if I had the stomach for it I would totally have ordered more food!!
Would highly recommend and next time I'm in the area I would order the same thing! This is a great local joint with amazing service...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust after 5pm, on April 2, 2024, my friend Alyssa, went to Sullys Burger with her daughter and service dog. Sullys Burger ILLEGALLY ejected her from the restaurant and discriminated against her based on her disability. When she arrived with a CLEARLY identified service dog (although ADA does not require this) two young women did not even acknowledge them and walked to the back of the restaurant. After a few minutes of pointing at her and conversing with someone in the back, an older women came out and told them to āget out, you canāt have pets here.ā My friend, Alyssa, corrected the women and told the women it was a service dog, and it was illegal to eject her through ADA guidelines because her service dog is not considered a pet, her service dog is a life saving companion! The older women said āI donāt care, I donāt make the rules, the owner does, so get out.ā Alyssa replied saying āthis is illegal, the owner is doing something illegalā and the older women again stated āI donāt care, get out.ā
This reflects poorly on all of the Sullys Burger staff, as Three staff members were involved in the ejection of Alyssa, her daughter and her service animal. The owner was named as making the rule that NO PETS were allowed in the restaurant. The establishment needs to read the ADA laws and brush up on their customer service. They need to learn how to take constructive criticism from their customers and LISTEN to what their customers are well versed in. A service animal is NOT a pet. It is a life saving medical tool and companion.
Sullys burger not only ILLEGALLY ejected a service animal, but they also discriminated against customers with disabilities by doing so. Highly disappointed and will be letting everyone know about the lack of compassion and...

Cons: Incredibly slow. Ordered two burgers and one fries and it took over half an hour to come out. It was busy but not insane. Lots of signs on the order window about respect and attitudes, but a very bummer and lackluster feeling inside no matter what kind of positive or even neutral energy you try to bring in. I have a feeling that it's hard to work here and there are a lot of upset customers due to the long wait times.
There are also a lot of signs about being understaffed. Clearly the food is good, there is a huge amount of demand for the restaurant, but the wait times and general vibe are costing the business money and upsetting customers. If it were me, I would invest in things like order buzzers or text notification so people could go and do other stuff while they wait for their food. I imagine the reason for low staffing is because the pay isn't great. I would offer better pay, working conditions, and benefits so that you could actually capitalize on the opportunity here. So there's a chance that people would actually show up and be invested in getting great food out to people. I would also look into some more experienced line cooks to get burgers pumping out of the kitchen way faster. Burgers like this are called "fast food" for a reason. If you could bust out your camp stove in the parking lot and cook your own burger in the time it takes a single burger to come out of the kitchen here, you need to be considering some new strategies.
Bottom line - burger was great, but no burger is great enough to be worth waiting...
