I was very excited to have a jimmy johns come to Forney. So excited in fact that I have already gone with my family within the first few days of opening. Unfortunately, Dawson, the “manager” had a terrible attitude from the start. When I arrived, I needed to order a kids meal to go along with my mobile order. The cashier, was very friendly in helping me. Dawson informed me that my mobile order has not yet come through and maybe I had ordered to the wrong jimmy johns. Then, I received a notification that my order had been refunded from my bank. Instead of helping me with this matter, Dawson told me to move over because they “make 30 second sandwiches”. I kindly moved over and watched as the line behind me grew. Why could he not have paused for a moment and have someone help with this matter? I’m not sure. So then, I took the kids meal I had ordered and took it outside to my husband. When I came back inside to re-order the rest of my food, I had to wait in a long line (which is no problem). Once I got to the front of the line I was back with the original cashier. He was very friendly. The manager cut in to inform myself and the cashier that he was not supposed to give me a free sandwich card because I was a rewards member. To me, his tone was very rude when talking to this cahsier. I informed Dawson that the cashier knew this but gave it to me too soon. Dawson then took my order, repeating it back to me incorrectly a couple of times. But I thought we finally had it correct. I then received my food and my family went to the nearby park to eat our lunch. Once we got to the park we realized that both of our sandwiches were made incorrectly. My husband is not particular so he kept his as is. Unfortunately, I’m a picky eater so we returned to the store to have it remade. Once I entered I was greeted again by the friendly cashier and another gentleman. These two guys were ready to help resolve the situation. Once again, they were very kind. Unfortunately, here came Dawson once again. He asked what was wrong with my sandwich as I was talking to the new gentleman. I told him that I received a turkey tom with onion and I had not ordered that. I went back to talking to the new gentleman. As I was trying to repeat my order to the cashier, Dawson kept rudely interrupting me, getting louder and louder. I told him if he could please stop and that I prefer to only talk with these cashiers. He told me “Well I’m the manager” as if this would fix the situation. The cashiers were handling it just fine, all Dawson brought to the table was chaos. I told him “you don’t make a very good manager” then he smirked and said “well thank you so much for telling me that”. He was just extremely tacky.
Also while I was there the three times I had to go in the store, MULTIPLE others had to come in to have their sandwiches remade. I understand it’s a new store and mistakes happen. However, the way “management” handles it makes a huge difference. I’m not sure how long this location will excel with a manager...
Read moreI wasn't going to give a review but decided it's important for the franchise owner to know how important customers are important to your business. I visited this location about a week ago and it was my first time going to a Jimmy John's the young lady at the register was nice but still in training and over to her right was a man with red hair and a beard talking with another employee and appeared to be listening. I asked for no mayo or if they could toast the bread before putting the mayo on it and the young man said no they couldn't do that and tried to tell me that the mayo acts as butter however I tried to tell him that I had gotten food poisoning before on mayo and was concerned he didn't care just gave no options and then seemed upset that I had dare ask for something. Simply the most unfriendly person and the lady he was talking to both ignored me and had the cashier give me my food . This man didn't say Thank you come back. If he is the manager or franchise owner he might want to know that you lost my business as there are plenty of other sandwich places that are better. I will never come back to any Jimmy Johns and will continue going to my fav Jersey Mikes or firehouse subs. Totally disappointed and the sandwich was not that good after all that. Read moreUpdate as of 9/24 I came into the store today to pick up a refund that took way too long to process in the first place by the manager. The worker Kevin was very rude and condescending and wouldn’t attempt to even look for it, customer service should be at the top of the list! This location needs to clean up the trash and bring in better workers bc I haven’t had any of the issues I’ve had at any other locations! Once I get my money I will never visit this location until I see it’s completely revamped. Never know what business your losing bc my company tends to feed a lot of people based off our recommendation’s
I’m calling the store tomorrow but I work nights and I’ve had issues with my last two orders—. Either it’s not being made correctly and bread is being left in on the last order . Pls educate staff on jimmy John’s standards!! Hopefully I can come back worn a good update bc by the time I get to my food around 1130/ midnight it’s very stressful and off putting when it isn’t correct
I’ve ordered here a few times since they’ve opened and whether it’s pick up or delivery my sandwich has been fresh and made quickly. Love the cookies! Hope we get some red velvet soon. Very nice...
