We arrived at 7:30 on The way Wednesday, yes the place is busy but most of the people were waiting on the hibachi tables so we were seated within 5 minutes. Waited about 15 before anyone even came and took our drink orders. About 10 minutes later the 3 ice waters arrived and we placed our order 30 minutes after that we get the soup and salad and the potstickers..... Literally an hour later the rice comes out but no food..... Rice is cold, drinks have not been refilled, so I get up myself and go to refill the beverages.... 🙄 About 15 minutes after the rice was brought out the actual entrrs are served..... We literally saw 2 other tables each served and payed out and the people after them served and payed out...... The waiter brings our ticket, we haven't seen him all night, comes back literally 2 minutes later to see if we are ready to pay. ..... My husband told him that we haven't seen him all night and now he is in a hurry for the bill to be payed, the restaraunt is literally almost empty at this point..... The waiter obviously didn't like that and a blonde lady walks up and asks if everything is OK..... We explained to her everything that happened and how we had been in the restaraunt literally over 2 hours!!!! She simply said well we are busy and shorthanded, I told her about the other 2 tables we saw get served twice, and how I had to refill our own beverage she responds oh, well it was a busy night. This is not acceptable! Service was horrible and the food mediocre! First and last time we will be at this restaurant. Read moreI took my family tonight for dinner. We had a 30 min wait which was expected. We just hung outside until our table was ready. When the chef came to the table he was preoccupied with the other tables getting seated. He even called the hostess over and said to squeeze two tables together. Continued to say that they are trying to keep him their until the restaurant closes and that he has regulars he likes and some he doesn’t like. He was rude to my 9 year old son when he caught the broccoli in his hand instead of his mouth, he tried to belittle my son. My son doesn’t like broccoli, but wanted to participate at broccoli being thrown at him. The chef criticized my cooking at home because I ordered my 7 year olds steak to be cooked well done. Please do not criticize my cooking at home when I’m paying you to prepare our families meal for the evening. He continued complaining about all the paying customers coming so he wouldn’t have to stay late did not sit well with me… kind of made us feel unwelcomed. Once he found out I was paying the bill, almost all interaction ceased with the table and he was focused on talking to his regulars waiting at the next table. For a meal over $100, I’d rather not be at a place that doesn’t want us there. I will continue to drive to Dallas and plan for Benihana’s for hibachi even though I live 5 min away from this place. Read moreCame in today for Mothers Day. This was my pick and we have been here several times before. The bartender was amazing. Remembered our drinks and they were on point. There was a new menu change. We were very explicit with what we wanted as I only really each chicken as a protein they provide. There are 2 of us ordering on hibachi meal as we orders 3 appetizers. We confirmed 2 times with the waitress and when the chef came out( before our appetizers or salad/soup)we told him it did not look right but he said yes this is good. So he cooked everything during that experience was great. Once I realized no chicken was being made but their is lobster, shrimp, and steak all which I dont eat I was a little irritated but I was fine eating a veggie plate and giving my fiance the proteins. He let me know the lobster and shrimp definitely had gone bad and was not good. But when the check came and they charged double for items I didnt even like that was an issue. After some conversation with the manager her solution was to make it a plate for 1 vs 2 which we had originally asked for but not only that it was the most expensive plate that we did not request. Than she also request us not to box our food that she just made us pay for. What an unfortunate $123 experience I will not be making again.
