Arin You are the best!!!!!! This sweet thing over here aka arin mailed a game out to Marblefalls Texas. The last and only copy of Armored Core V in Texas that i found at any Ganestop store. One of my all time favorite games. She was so helpful and the nicest person I have ever talked to over the phone with a GameStop employee ever. And trust me when i say i have been going to game stop since i was young now I’m 30 and this girl right here made my day. Give her a raise GameStop no 1$. 2$ bs give her a good salary raise 50k - or more a year, she will keep people coming back to buy games from your company..... I’m a huge supporter of GameStop and what they do. Arin was the best person from any company that i have ever talked to in my life, hands down made me feel right off the bat that i was her friend not just a person coming to buy a game from a store 198 miles away from me. Most people would blow off anyone trying to get a older game like this shipped to the closest store to you, not arin she was on top of it with in the 10 minutes of us hanging up she called me back and got everything done and handled. We were shopping for one of their early Black Friday deals, and by the time we decided on a game to buy as a gift, a sticker with a price about $10 higher had been marked on it. (There was an associate there who was sticking on new prices as we were trying to browse).
I checked later online and the website was still selling the same games new at the price we were considering. Seems like this location decided to bump them up.
I get that the store needs to make money to stay in business, and that working in retail is very difficult, but I just had a negative vibe about the place as we checked out. The whole experience with the games we were considering being marked higher once we made a choice as to which one to buy kinda bugged me (especially if it's a sale for Black Friday, which technically hasn't even happened yet!). As the associate was relabeling games, we felt like we were in their way.
I've bought from here before and those experiences have been fine, but today I just didn't feel comfortable and valued...
Read moreCame out here from Dallas for the elusive Wii U power cable that was listed in stock. The staff (on duty at the time was named Kyler) was very friendly and we had a nice conversation and the store trip experience was overall pretty great. Unfortunately I had already gotten home before I realized that it was not the same cable as labeled. I left feedback on their feedback website (since the store was closed already) alerting management of the issue and stating I'd be back during my next free time to get a refund. A couple days later I got a call from the manager Meghan apologizing, even though it wasn't a big issue (I spend enough time looking through physical shops for hard to find games to know what to expect for parts as rare as this, and drive enough that I don't mind the trip) and she even said she'd honor the refund even if I couldn't make it out before the receipt's deadline.
