Mariya Thai Kitchen — Restaurant in Forney

We live in Crandall, moved here in 2023 from Carrollton. And were disappointed in finding that we had didn't have much asian food options to eat out compared to before. Now that Mariya Thai Kitchen has opened here in Forney, we are so happy to find great asian food that's local to us. We ordered the chicken fried rice for my toddler and although alot of it ended up on the floor. He ate most of it. And cried for more. I tried the chicken satay with peanut sauce as the appetizer. It was so flavorful and the peanut sauce was awesome. I did order the beef Pad See Ew noodles spicy level 2 and they were soooo good! My husband got the Yellow chicken Curry spicy level 2 as well. Honestly we could have gotten the spicy level 3 but weren't sure. I'm so happy with everything! We did get takeout because my toddler was hangry so I didn't want to risk ruining the vibes for other guests. Overall it was very good, fresh and flavorful. We did get a free lemonade which was nice because it was hot outside. We will be returning again soon to try the pad thai. Please go if you enjoy great authentic Thai food. Thai / Asian food is my absolute favor and we are lucky to have a lot of options in Forney. Mariya Thai Kitchen will not be the only place I go. I ordered my go to that I’ve had everywhere in town and Mariya knocked it out of the park on all three items. Chicken pad Thai - beautiful sauce and quality and sear on the kitchen. Super flavorful. Philadelphia roll- delicious. The rice is cooked to perfect, excellent salmon and proportions inside the roll of fish, avo and cream cheese. 10/10. Lastly, Thai tea.. super good, no weird after taste like some other spots around here. My order was Togo and the staff was friendly over the phone and super kind when picking up the food. So so SO thankful for this place! I was looking for a yellow curry almost just like this from where I use to live. It's the closest thing I have found so far! It was delicious. I got a level 1 and it was the perfect spice.

I probably won't order the sushi roll again, possibly even not the flares cheese rolls. They were a little bland. But the curry......GIRL! It slaps. My husband got the coconut curry and he enjoyed it as well. I reheated mine later and it was delicious. That's one of the best things about curry. It reheats.

There were only 2 other people in there. Super chill. Our serves was a super friendly rehead, with cute nails I don't remember her name sorry girl...
