Edit: This location seems to often be out of menu items, so I am taking a star off my review. It is usually pretty hit-or-miss whether I will actually receive my order. Today, they were out of bacon and couldn't give me the breakfast I mobile ordered. I'm not sure how a place can advertise a hot breakfast and run out of bacon.
This Starbucks has good days and bad days. Some days, they're great! I used to be a barista, so I typically order my lattes steamed a little on the cooler side and they always do it with a smile. On a few occasions, however, they have far from lived up to my expectations. One of the baristas once told me they were not selling a drink that they were advertising (the new Narino iced coffee). Once, they put sweetener into my plain latte. I did not request a sweet latte, nor do I like lattes with sugar added to them. Today, I ordered an iced cinnamon almond milk macchiato and the drink I received had curdeled milk. This is by far the biggest offense from this Starbucks! Unexpected chunks in an iced drink are far from pleasant. This could easily be avoided if the barista had cooled down the espresso by pouring it over the ice in the cup before adding the almond milk.
Overall, this Starbucks is a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a coffee. However, its quality is pretty inconsistent. I give it 3...
Read moreIf it was possible to give them 0 stars I would. I go in to order a cake pop and a iced coffee and right from the beginning i had to clarify my order 3x to repeat what I wanted. Simple ice Carmel coffee with sweet cream. Right? Wrong. The guy seemed confused on what I wanted him to do with the sweet cream...okay. Moving on, I told him I was a health care worker (since I heard Starbucks was doing a promotion) and he legit did not care. He’s made it very obvious that the promotion did not apply to me. Since my order was a venti and apparently the promo was for a tall. So deduct the tall discount to my venti?? No? okay. 2 people that ordered after me got their blended drinks first as I waited 30+ for mine. I’ve never been so livid at this juncture. Then because I was standing around one of the workers just points at me and stares..so I said uhhh I had a simple ice Coffee and one of the girls said she got it. Which she didn’t, had to wait another 10 mins. Until finally a worker handed mine and it looked nothing like what I wanted. Which I told her it didn’t, and she hands me my drink and says “oh okay but this what you ordered” and just hands it to me I left the store with my “drink” and cake pop livid. She didn’t offer to remake it OR ANYTHING. DO NOT...
Read moreThe store looks better. They've remodeled it and opened it up a bit...and that's about all the positive I can come up with. Upon entering the store you may be lucky enough to get a mumbled "hello" or "welcome". More often than not you're just going to get ignored. Expect a wait time of 3-5 minutes for someone to even take your order...and that's if you're the only person in the store. Drive-through seems to take priority, but that a hot mess in and of itself. When your order is finally taken it may or may not be worked on. Expect longer wait times due to lost drinks or the barista just kinda casually doing it in the order that he/she feels like. When it's finally over, and you manage to get your drink, Its more than likely not going to be correct. Starbucks has a recipe guide right? Training maybe? Or maybe its just The staff. A bunch of young adults(?) that have no sense of urgency. No desire to actually take care of the customer. I don't really blame them as much as the management. The staff is as only good as their leaders. The store manager, the district manager need proper training and for that training to flow down to their employees. I guess that's too much to ask from starbucks in this...
