High Point Bar — Restaurant in Fort Collins

On Friday, February 22nd I walked into high point with a date. The bartender serviced her and then I went to order. At this point I was completely sober and had not spoken a word since entering the bar.

The female bartender interrupted me, scoffed and said "YOU'RE getting water" before aggressively slamming down a glass of water. My date was visibly upset, but I didn't let it bother me and I allowed her to finish her drink before we left. I should also note that the bar was completely empty, a likely result of the service.

Whether it was my appearance or my gender, it is illegal to refuse service to someone based on either. If I was treated that way while completely sober while not having said anything at all, I can't imagine how other patrons might have been treated.

That's a lawsuit waiting to happen, you guys need to strongly consider the employees you're putting in front of your customers.

To anyone considering going here, there are better options in Fort Collins. I've never been refused service before and I would prefer not to reinforce that behavior. Please stay away from this bar until they fix their staff.

We stopped by tonight for my daughter’s 21st birthday, it was our first time in the location. We were outback playing darts, and there was obviously a group on the dartboard next to us that were regulars…. So someone on the staff came out and started watching us and even though we were just keeping to our selves playing darts kicked us out Because the group next to us was complaining that we were starting stuff with them…. We didn’t even talk to the group next to us let alone start a scuffle!!! Seriously, would’ve stayed there for the rest of the night drinking and playing darts, very...

This place used to be fun until the owners stopped caring and also hired awful employees. Separate weekends, myself, my brother, and a friend were all kicked out. They said they were “too drunk” to my friend and brother who were on their first drink of the night while for me they refused to give a reason which was extremely discriminatory. I was harassed by multiple employees for zero reason to the point people in line and in the bar, who I did not know, left after seeing how I was treated. Do not support this bar or their other bar...
