This pub is nice and homey. I went for my 21st and the blonde bartender was super nice. I wish I had gotten her name to give her better credit where credit is due. She was a great with conversation and welcoming. I went in tonight (6/11 @10 pm) and the brunette lady was inattentive and when I asked for the price of a cherry and the credit minimum she straight said "more than a dollar BrO!" And just left. I intended to get a proper amount of cherries but she lost my sale/ tip for what I consider rude behavior. I'll give her the benefit that it was indeed busy, however that kinda attitude was rather crass for waiting 10 minutes to order some cherries. I hope to come back with a better person at the bar. The doorman was rude, short and felt like he had a point to prove. He claimed that ‘we don’t see these ID’s’, and that ‘they’re different’.
Everyone else had a drivers license from a different state - how does he know what to look for?
I’m sure a manager without a chip on his shoulder could have resolved the situation, but we had no desire to spend money with an establishment who left this first impression on us.
