Town Pump — Restaurant in Fort Collins

This pub is nice and homey. I went for my 21st and the blonde bartender was super nice. I wish I had gotten her name to give her better credit where credit is due. She was a great with conversation and welcoming. I went in tonight (6/11 @10 pm) and the brunette lady was inattentive and when I asked for the price of a cherry and the credit minimum she straight said "more than a dollar BrO!" And just left. I intended to get a proper amount of cherries but she lost my sale/ tip for what I consider rude behavior. I'll give her the benefit that it was indeed busy, however that kinda attitude was rather crass for waiting 10 minutes to order some cherries. I hope to come back with a better person at the bar. I only care to review because I see a great bar that deserves better employees that can handle a rush and show a friendly face while...

Avoid like the plague. British member of the group turned away with active duty military ID card, showing a picture and a date of birth.

The doorman was rude, short and felt like he had a point to prove. He claimed that ‘we don’t see these ID’s’, and that ‘they’re different’.

Everyone else had a drivers license from a different state - how does he know what to look for?

I’m sure a manager without a chip on his shoulder could have resolved the situation, but we had no desire to spend money with an establishment who left this first impression on us.

Fort Collins has some awesome bars, wish we could have checked this...

If you love dogs or want to take your dog to a friendly patio, this place is NOT the place for you. Alone on the small patio, we were asked if our dog was barking outside....we said multiple dogs had walked by and they all interacted together and some barked. The employee said the bark was persistently the same, accusing our dog of barking too much on the outdoor patio..... Be kind, Town Pump. You are a long time establishment in a dog friendly community. Don't allow dogs if you aren't dog friendly. Make it easier on everyone,...
