Lomita's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Fort Dodge

My wife and I have been coming here for a few years, last night was probably the worst experience at a restaurant we had. We arrived was seated and took out drink order and asked for queso. We sat for 10 min waiting. Another couple arrived and seated next to us. We waited another 10 min. 20 min has passed, still no drinks no queso. A waiter comes serves the other couples drinks take there order. We kindly asked for our drinks and dip. Was told our waiter would be with us. Now 25 min a guy walks bye throws our dip at us at the table and asks what our drinks was again. They finally bring my wife's drink, made wrong. We are almost 1/2 hour in and the other table order is taking and we ask what is going on. Still haven't seen our waiter since being seated. We inform them that we are leaving. They then try to charge us the full bill for a drink that was made wrong and the bowl of queso they threw at us at the table. They treated us like we was the problem despite the fact sitting at the table for 30 min before we even got our drinks and the other tables being served food that came in way after us! My husband and kids brought me here for Mother's Day. Food was awesome but the service was atrocious!!!!! 😤 They took forever and a day to bring to us what we asked for, drinks, salt, tortillas,chips,salsa and got our food wrong! My son ordered the Burrito Relleno Special and he got two burritos not Rellenos in the same plate one chicken the other beef when he had ordered both beef then 10 minutes later a different waitress comes with 2 big plates with 1 Burrito Relleno in each plate🤦🏻‍♀️ they had given him the wrong order then my husband asked for tortillas and my order of triple fajitas came with tortillas and never got them after asking twice for them then my husband asked for spicy sauce and salt never got that either spicy sauce came after we had finished our chips. They got my other sons gordita order wrong also! Again, food was awesome, my second time going there my kids first time but I'm not sure if I will be coming back! No apologies no discount no I'm sorry we'll take care of it just attitude from one of the waitresses. What a Mother's Day...

Had a really bad experience tonight at Lomitas I got there wasn't very busy took 15 mins for my server to even approach me. I was by myself and ordered a water and a quesadilla. I got amazing customer service from the bussers who kept bringing me chips and salsa and refilled my water for me and making sure I was ok. About 35 mins of waiting for my food I saw people who had just sat down getting there food.. I flagged down my server and she asked if I was ready for my check ... I haven't gotten my food yet and I told her and her response was oh well it will be about 5 mins he said he had a big party and would get right on it. After 15 more mins of waiting and food going out the window I left. As an x restaurant employee I feel this situation was handled very poorly. Understand waiting 30 mins on a Friday night but come on 1 hour for a quesadilla.. I hope other people don't have the same problem I do when...
