Stumbled upon this restaurant just driving by and looking it up on my maps. We took a chance hoping they had a table for two on a busy Saturday night of a 4 day holiday weekend. 1st glance. Looked very busy and packed with a great atmosphere. Has different rooms that could both be used for private parties and two of the main rooms had live music. We were seated on the outdoor patio and seated within 10 minutes of arriving. All the food plates we saw passing by looked delicious. Once seated is the only hiccup we had to our entire meal. Staff was a bit slow in getting to take our drinks and our order. Not to bad though as it was a packed house. We received some bread and an oil garlic mixture but no silver wear. Took to dipping the bread with our hands. I did ask for some napkins, was handed a napkin but no silverware. Our appetizer arrived and with it two seafood forks but they are tiny for our stuffed clams (casino clams) we laughed and proceeded to use just those. What turned out to be the head chef passed by and asked if else needed anything - we did - we politely asked for utensils. He then then turned toma wait staff and asked them to get it for us. Then a few minutes later he asked another waiter . Finally they arrived. We had each an entrée and then shared a dessert. Very good food.

This is a very upscale Italian restaurant. Bar area was clean with a decent selection of drinks. Live music was playing. We ate outside under the tent and it was a very nice place to be. For the food part we had excellent service from a very professional staff. We had a variety of appetizers, all of which ranged from competent to downright delicious, though none of them particularly memorable. Table bread was acceptable with a nice garlic sauce that went with it. My main course was the seafood ravioli which had crab meat and ricotta filling with a lobster cream sauce. You only get 8 but each one is more heavy than they appear. The pasta was black from squid ink and cuts nicely with a fork. The crab part tasted genuine. It was a little hard to distinguish the lobster taste in the sauce once you bite in but generally it's a nicely assembled dish. Overall I would say the food here isn't really mind blowing but it was a fun experience. For the price it's honestly not any better than a mid class Italian restaurant in a bigger city suburb. It's good for bigger parties that like to drink though.

8/5/19- Wow, what a great staple . HH with a piano player . Happy Hour food menu from prices it’s half off that . We started with a bottle of wine . Then we had off HH food menu, their baked clams, very tiny but they sure were tastey. Yes plus Baby lamp chops that came with mint jelley . They were so nice and tender . We they order of regular menu , my friend made up her own dish which was chicken Schiaparelli which is not on the menu real Schiaparelli is on a bed of spinach with the brown sauce it was huge and very good plenty leftover for the next day for lunch the music was fun the people were nice the bartenders were very nice and helpful . Will define go back . Great atmosphere 5/26/18- again had a fabulous time . Live music was really good even danced. Started with some wine then ordered off their HH food menu. We had Beef carpaccio escarole and beans, Margarita flatbread small happy hour size and the charcuterie ( meat and cheese platter). Good time and yes again owner very visible and he even stopped at the table again old school. Fun by all

I treated my friend to a birthday celebration at this restaurant, and we lucked out by arriving during happy hour. The atmosphere, food, and drinks were incredibly inviting, creating a cozy and delightful experience. However, what truly stole the show were the drinks and their presentation – they were simply out of this world. I chose the passion fruit martini, while my friend chose the grapefruit variant. Not only were the flavors exquisite, but the way they were served added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. The glasses themselves were a highlight, and if you're interested in recreating the same aesthetic at home, you can find them here: https://amzn.to/3ZnXAyE The pricing is quite reasonable, making it a worthwhile investment. I highly recommend making the journey to this restaurant; I personally drove over an hour and ten minutes to get there, and it was absolutely worth every minute of the trip. It's a fantastic place to celebrate special occasions or savor a delightful evening.

Cafe Vico has always been an impressive delicious experience, made all the more so by the attention to detail shown by the staff in crisp clean face masks and fresh gloves. While some elements of service have changed to encourage distancing, and cleaner passage of glasses and plates, the elegance of delivery has remained, the server diligently making sure he has the correct choice of wines between several from the same vineyard, prompt refills on beverages, friendly service that neither lingers to long or appears to quickly. And of course the food, this is a consistent easy pick for Best Italian / Best Restaurant in Broward overall. I have been eating here at least 14 years, I have never has a bad plate, have never had bad service, considering how hard it is to run restaurant in the best of times, it is incredible to see Chef/Owner Marco Vico and his team maintain such a wonderful dining experience for so many years.

Hands down the best Italian food in South Florida! From the incredible quality of the dishes to the warm and attentive service, this restaurant truly stands out. Today, our office ordered Friday lunch for delivery, and it was nothing short of perfection. The food arrived fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—it felt like we were transported to an authentic Italian kitchen. We shared dishes family-style, sampling each other’s plates, and every bite was absolutely divine. It turned our typical workday into a joyful gathering, filled with laughter and delicious food. Whether you’re dining in, ordering takeout, or enjoying delivery, this place nails it every time. Amazing food, fantastic service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We couldn’t be happier and can’t recommend this gem enough. Do yourself a favor—order today or stop by for an unforgettable Italian experience! I ordered Zappa Di Pesce one of my favorites.
