I saw this on TikTok (@yumnfun) and decided to try it out. I actually drove from Coral Springs just to give it a shot. From the photos online, the portions looked kinda small, but when I got the food, it was way bigger than expected. I ordered the Surf and Turf Mac and Cheese, and it was honestly better than I thought it’d be. The shrimp were great, and the cheese wasn’t just plain cheese- it had seasoning and tasted more like a sauce. The steak was a bit chewy, not my favorite part, but it was okay overall. The total came out to $21.23 with tax (it’s $18.95 before tax). I’d say the value is okay- just a little on the expensive side. It’s not the portion size that’s the issue, it’s just that I personally would’ve felt better paying around $15 for it. The spot itself is more of a ghost kitchen. There’s very minimal seating- definitely more of a takeout-type place. Also, parking is basically nonexistent, so be prepared for that. That said, I’d still go back and try more from their menu. The food was solid overall.

I was excited to try Holy Bowly based on the reviews. I ordered the Cajun Surf n Turf bowl. Upon opening the container, my initial impression was an unmet expectation that the bowl would be full - especially considering the price of almost $20 including tax...The major problem was the poor quality of the steak - every single piece was inedible (i.e. fatty/chewy). See photo - what's pictured is literally every single piece of steak that was in my bowl that couldn't be chewed (supposedly 4oz)....I'm highly disappointed. I would be hesitant to try them again, but if I did, I would definitely order a bowl that doesn't contain steak....I'm giving 2 stars based on the customer service. When I called, the young lady who answered was very pleasant & agreed to have my food brought out to my car, so I wouldn't have to unload my toddler. The gentleman who brought it out to me was friendly & polite.

I came here almost a month ago for the first time to give it a shot, thanks to the ads on Facebook, and based on all the good reviews. I ordered The Mac Time bowl and all I can say is "damn, it was bomb". It seems a little pricey but it's such a large portion that you can easily make two meals out of it, and the fact that it actually tastes great makes it worth it. The ingredients are super fresh and everything is made to order, so no stale or reheated food. The mac and cheese in the bowl was the best I've ever had, I would get that by itself. The staff is super cool and friendly, and proud of what they are putting out. I don't drive by the place very often but will definitely stop in again and try something else. I wish there was one closer to Coral Springs so me and my lady could get it for dinner one night, but we'll probably make the small drive just so we can enjoy it together.

I’ve ordered Holy Bowly about 5 times now and feel the need to leave a SAFE review. (I forgot) but they deserve this review.

10000000/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND

First, HB is a take out restaurant. Call or order online, pick up, and eat.

I only recommend delivery if it’s close, the food will be guaranteed hot and fresh on arrival.

DID I MENTION ALWAYS HOT AND FRESH?

The first time I had HB, it was a bite from heaven. Mouth watering, flavorful and FILLING. The price matches the bowl. I had a slight issue when they first opened, contacted them on IG and they immediately amended the situation!

3 people 5 orders, 11 bowls, two steak and 9 Mac time. From my boss herself in text “This is bomb!”

We are all in love with Holy Bowly.

They’re honest and Customer service is great.

They’ve had maybe one bowl with a portion issue, I didn’t care enough to complain but if you feel the need, reach out to them first BEFORE leaving a review!!!!

Holy Bowly is my one of my favorite south Florida take out spots and I don’t care if I get fat or not Mac time has me in a chokehold.

Try it...

I used to always have the Mac Time and the Tangy bowl at this place, and when I say always, I mean once a week. It was a delicious and flavorful dish. Some time ago, I ordered it again, and when it arrived, I was shocked—it was nothing like before. The portion was small and dry, with no cheese or sauce at all.

Today, I went to the restaurant and ordered three, since I was with coworkers and we were excited to eat there, thinking that ordering in person would mean better quality. But again, it was nothing like it used to be.

I just hope someone reads this and takes note, so you can go back to making it how it was before. (When I say I used to order these dishes, I mean I only wanted to have that for lunch. I even noticed the price went up, and I didn’t mind paying more—as long as the quality stayed the same.)

Today is the last time I’ll order, since I’ve given many chances to see if it would go back to how it was, but it hasn’t. I’ve tried ordering by phone, in person, and through DoorDash—and none have matched what...
