One of the worst experiences I've had in the fast food/restaurant business. This is actually the first review I've ever left after being displeased with service. It's been that bad. I ordered a few sandwiches for a group of friends for lunch on Sunday, October 30. I ordered delivery. The food never arrived. I have been on the phone with this Jimmy John's at 1501 E Commercial Blvd. on five (5) different occassions to try and get a refund or credit for food that was never delivered. I was continuously told that their driver told them that he/she knocked on our door, left the food at the front door, and continued making deliveries. Again, the food never arrived, and not once did we hear a "knock" on the front door - or any door for that matter. Do these people really think that I would go through all of this to try and scam them out of $75? I promise you, if I received my food, I would not be trying to seek a refund or credit. I'm still waiting on a response for what is typically a routine customer service request. I've been told continuously that a "general manager" is gong to call me. I have not received a call yet. Jimmy John's lost a few otherwise loyal customers for this.
**UPDATE: As of Sunday, November 6, 2022, exactly one week following this horrible customer service experience, I still have not received a refund for food that was ordered, yet never delivered by this Jimmy John's location. This Jimmy John's is owned by a franchisee. In the middle of COVID, i positioned myself expecting delays etc. This first business Rep i had did a fantastic job that i felt the urge to get her something. 2/ The only opened businesses that early morning were 2 restaurants. I opted for JJ. Now, all my not-so-great story ensues. Ray of JJ helped me to solve my problem by suggesting a better idea. I was wondering how i can order for this lady at business i mentioned earlier where i can pay for her lunch. In my covid cloudy head, i wasn't thinking about getting a gift card that Ray suggested. Then bam! my credit card just won't work. Ray patiently tried many many times. In a normal scenario, this would have been embarrassing already but i never felt that way, the way he handled my business. He tried 2 POS machines. In the end i brought in ca$h from my stash in the car. The unfortunate part was it's the last emergency cash that is the same amount of the gift card. At this time, i was already thirsty and stressed out lol. My last money was a dollar that won't get any drinks. SO THEN HE PAID FOR MY SODA POP AS I STILL NEED TO DRIVE 50 MILES TO GET BACK HOME. On way to there destination i notice that an employee car parked backwards in front of store there were other spots open i used one even thou im disable with 2 canes i was going to give this store a chance but when i saw that i am going to go somewhere else and spend over 40 dollar i am find a subway instead.
