I can only give this a 3* on food b/c I only had 2 bites of my dinner. Our waitress was lovely as a person, but not as a server, so I give a 4, but in general it deserves a ZERO. Atmosphere only receives a 4 because of the friends we dined with & b/c it was so quiet.... which leads to my ZERO* across the board.
We were ONE of 4 tables in the entire restaurant (of which were mostly only couples, maybe a 4-top. They knew we were celebrating TWO bdays of the couple we dined with ... yep, a big ol' FOUR OF US to serve. We never received drinks timely. Our apps/ plates were not moved before being handed our dinner plate (literally - in our hands b/c there was not a clean spot on the table). The Bday Boy finally got up and moved our apps & dirty dishes to the table across from us (again - the entire dining room was EMPTY... and the leftover app was sitting on top of the "to-go" bag/ container the waitress brought us). So, now, that we as the customer, moved all dirty plates/ glasses & leftovers to the adjacent table so we could set our dinner plates down .... some bozo FINALLY came around to clear the dirty dishes we had sat next to us - - AND took away our barely touched appetizer, which was sitting on a to-go box (that was yet to be packaged).
We then sat for over 10 minutes, while our meals got colder and colder to receive our 4th party's dinner ... yep - the bday boy's. When we FINALLY could get a server to pass, asking WTHeck - - where is his dinner - - they had to ask... so what did you order???
OMG. I stood up and looked around ... again ... noted 3 ppl at the bar. One couple at a booth at the bar, and one couple "near" our area in the dining room. So I asked: "HOW IN THE HECK CAN YOU NOT KEEP UP WITH FOUR DINNERS AT OUR TABLE WHEN THERE ARE "maybe" 10 PEOPLE IN HERE???" I was told "we have a private party, too".
We ended up boxing up all of our dinners 'to-go' and got the heck out of there. While standing outside for a smoke, completely disappointed, the "PRIVATE PARTY" departed.... a big ol' EIGHT of them. So - in total, the restaurant had maybe TWENTY guests (on a Thursday evening... approx 830pm) ... and drinks couldn't arrive timely ... our birthday guest's dinner was 15 mins late (technically, forgotten)... and we walked out with 3 huge bags of to-go meals and empty stomachs.
The attempted to make it good by comp'g (1) dessert and the bday boy's dinner ... too little too late ... It was meant to be a celebration dinner w/our sweet couple/ friends who were celebrating a joint bday (appprox a week diff apart from one another). It instead turned into feeling crappy by having to complain ... being annoyed & disappointed throughout the evening ... having to clear/ clean our own table and wishing we had never come.
From the few bites of food I actually did have, it was tasty ... just a pity it was COLD (waiting for our 4th's meal) and stomach upset from frustration.

Read morei recently flew in from california to celebrate my friend’s birthday and was pretty excited that he wanted to go to outback (outback is usually one of my favorite places to go). i’ve never had an unpleasant experience at any restaurant until this week and im honestly pretty disappointed. i have experience as a server and ive never felt compelled to leave a bad review but last evening was pretty bad. things were pretty normal, and all until we got our food and our server never checked in on us. as we finished our meals, the plates just started piling up and our server never stopped by to pick them up, or ask how everything was. we weren’t offered refills or anything by our server. the table became so crowded that we had to put all of the dishes in a corner and on another table to make space for the cake. our server passed by a few times but completely ignored us and the host was being rude about us putting our dishes onto another table. i felt a little hurt that she decided to scold us rather than helping us. there were a few times were other servers stepped in to offer refills or bring us sauce, and they did a really great job, and they definitely made the experience a little more tolerable. it’s a little disappointing that our own server left us unattended for so long. i really hate the idea of leaving bad reviews on any platform but i’m just really disappointed at the atmosphere and service my friend’s and i had experienced. no one should go unattended for that long and no employee should go out if their way to scold customers instead of...
