I loved discovering this brand new adorable ice cream shop in the Victoria Park neighborhood of Ft. Lauderdale. It on the street behind the Gateway Shopping Plaza. They opened on April 29th. Razzleberry has been in Pompano since 1991 and they have a store in Ft. Lauderdale on 17th Street.
Razzleberry always has the classic vanilla, chocolate, strawberry flavors and then they have a creative weekly menu that changes. During my visit they had a flavor to appeal to kids, a blue Smurf ice cream and then some strictly adult flavors like Irish Cream Latte, Long Island Iced Tea, Cowboy, and Cake Batter Tequila. They also had vegan and dairy free selections.
I was intrigued by their boozy flavors and a Key Lime pie flavored ice cream called Sam's Lucky Sugar Daddy but I ended up choosing a waffle cone of mint chocolate chip and chocolate chip. It was just how I like my ice cream, a little bit of ice cream holding dinner plate chunks of chocolate together. I may be exaggerating a bit but there were huge pieces of chocolate in my ice cream. Two giant scoops in a waffle cone was a bargain $5. They also sell ice cream sandwiches, sundaes, shakes, and chocolate dipped slices of frozen key lime pie like you get in the Keys.
You can eat your frozen treat out back in their courtyard that is the Victoria Park Flower Garden Center. The walls are lined with art by multimedia artist Sue Thomas and it a very relaxing place to sit under their shade canopy. There is even a cornhole game.
I was waited on by the sweetest young lady whose mother owns the business and makes the ice cream. I had the best experience and look forward to coming here again as well as trying their...
Read moreLove this location. I’ve been coming here for about a year and a half getting the ice cream. The staff is always very nice and friendly. I’ve had some really fun conversations with some of the staff and they do a really good job at making sure that the staff have good personalities for the environment.
They have always been pretty consistent and generous with the scoops. Plus the ice cream is homemade and they always have a great selection of flavors to choose from. Non dairy / vegan etc.
They rotate the flavors fairly often. so there’s always something different to try. My favorite is the house Razzleberry flavor. This is really the only place that I will come. I’ve tried many other places in the area and this is absolutely the best. The patio outside is cute if you decide to stay there and eat your ice cream after a juicy burger at burger stop. Definitely don’t...
