When I arrived to pick up my pizza, the cashier was very unfriendly (I think it's the same employee another reviewer complained about in a recent review; young black guy with blue fingernails). He just had a look of "I hate my job and I don't care" the whole time. I give him my name and pay for my order, then wait til it's ready. After a few minutes, I realized the total was less than the total I saw on the app, so I checked my receipt and saw a different name that sounded similar to mine. I was little annoyed that the cashier didn't verify my order before having me pay, but I understood it was a simple mistake. I went back up to the counter and 3 different employees walked by, looking me right in the eye without asking if I needed something. I finally spoke up to get one's attention and told her I paid for the wrong order. She too was unfriendly (middle-aged white woman with blonde hair) and shrugged and said "Well this order's paid for now regardless" (I wasn't sure what she meant by that), and then called the cashier over to explain what happened. The cashier went to get another employee to void the transaction. In the meantime, the phone was ringing, and the 2nd employee (the one I told about the issue) got agitated that no one was answering it and said something about "I'm glad someone finally answered the f*ing phone!" when another employee answered it. I know I heard the f-word. The cashier and another employee came back over, and the new employee told me she would void the transaction and then I could pay for my order. This is how I expected it to be resolved, so I didn't see why the 2nd employee had made such a big deal about it. Kudos to the employee that voided the transaction (tall black girl); she was the only pleasant part of this experience. After I signed the correct receipt, I noticed a large order was now sitting on the counter, so I asked the cashier if it was mine. He replied, "yep" with the same dead look in his eyes. I had already pretty much stopped buying Papa John's since they booted the original CEO and the prices had gone up, but I definitely won't use this location ever again due to the unfriendliness if I ever even purchase another Papa...
Read moreTerrible. The staff here is RUDE. I called to have a pizza delivered to my store (which is new and the address doesn't show up off Battlefield Parkway) and the pizza I was ordering was an $8.99 large one topping....the guy on the phone taking my order had the phone snatched away from him by some incredibly rude guy who just says "THATS CARRY OUT ONLY." To which I informed him it most certainly was not and he told me if it was showing that online, I just needed to order it there because its carry out only....I explained the issue with the address not showing up hence why I called and he says "If you put the address in the computer right, it should be right. And then you can get the deal." What??? THEN, the delivery guy comes after I ordered it online and had to call them back to have them change the address since it wasn't showing up like I had previously stated to them, and the receipt he had was reflecting the amount I had paid online INCLUDING the tip, yet was expected to tip again, as. They added everything together under a total, and then dropped down and left a tip line on my receipt, as if I want to double tip after the way I was treated. When the driver realized I wasn't leaving anything extra on there (considering he had already been paid his tip) he refused to speak to me, walked out, and made sure to crumple the receipt on his way out.....WORST experience ever with a pizza place. I will never, EVER bring my business back...
Read moreThis place is completely unprofessional and rude. Called and ordered a pizza for delivery 7 miles from Fort Oglethorpe location. First problem the person who took the order could not speak or understand English. Second, someone called us right back and hung up when we answered. So we called back to find out if there was an issue. We checked on the order and the automated service said our pizza would take 29 minutes. 45 minutes later we called and spoke to a rude manager who said they do not deliver to Chattanooga. I told her I lived in Chickamauga, she said they don't deliver there either. (7 miles from the store) I told her we have been waiting on food that apparently was never going to show up. She said not her fault it was the call center and nothing she could do. She never offered to make the pizza and for us to pick it up instead or any other remedy to the situation. She said she would not let me continue to yell at her and said very rude good bye. I never raised my voice to her I was complaining that we had been waiting and it was unacceptable that you would not notify a customer that you were not going to even make their order. Unbelievable, you can't stay in business running it this way, obviously need better trained managers and employees. We will not be returning to this...
