This Starbucks is absolutely the worst location I have visited in thirty-seven years and fifty states. If you travel a lot, you will find there is a variation between Starbucks locations. It generally has to do with the length of time a store has been open. Many locations are truly enjoyable to visit. They have the best combination of fast friendly, polite service top quality drinks and spotless facilities. The ambiance at some locations is exemplary. Then, there are some locations where it isn't overwhelmingly impressive. Maybe it's been a long, busy day, and it isn't as clean as usual. Maybe they are short-handed that day. But the drinks are generally reliably consistent. The variation between Starbucks is usually not worth complaining about. But when I went into this location, it looked familiar. But there was nothing else about it that made it worth my time or business. I ordered my normal drink, a double tall cafe mocha. As I was the only customer, I expected to have my drink and be on my way in minutes. But not today. There were two girls working, and it was fifteen minutes before they presented my order. Tired of waiting and eager to leave, I took my drink and headed to my car. After getting in and sitting down, I tasted the drink. It was a watery hot chocolate without espresso or whipped cream. This was it for this location. On my first visit, they were busy, and it took twenty minutes to get my drink. Other than the fact they did not include whipped cream, it was a tall cafe mocha. That is why I stopped in a second time. I was still having trouble believing how bad the second visit was, and I was going to try again today, but the same girl was working,...
Read moreIf you are looking for a starbucks to be in and out of, DON’T COME HERE. I work about 5 minutes from this starbucks. Today, I placed a mobile order right before I left work (about 10 minutes before 7pm). I got there, and it said it wasn’t ready yet, so i sat in my car for a minute or two. It still wasn’t ready, but that was fine, so I just went inside to wait. When I walked in, there were 2 people already waiting on mobile orders, and TWO groups of THREE people currently ordering or waiting to order at the counter. I walk over to the mobile order station, and just before the two people who were in front of me got their drinks, I got a notification that my order was ready, but they didn’t put it up on the little shelf. The two people ahead of me get their mobile orders, so I assumed mine would be next. I was wrong. The other two groups of three each also got their drinks and mine was nowhere to be seen. It had now been 20 minutes since I placed my order and 5 minutes since I was notified that it was ready. The THREE girls that were behind the counter were cutting up and laughing like I wasn’t even there. I was about to step up and say something when one of them finally notices me and says “Um was there another order?” to the other girls. They walk over to the register and pull out a ticket and make my drink, laughing and joking around the whole time. She finally brings my drink over to me and it had already been 25 minutes since I placed my order and I was fed up so I just grabbed it and left. Absolute terrible service. The only reason I’m even giving it one star is because thankfully my drink was actually good. I will...
Read moreMy coffee has been pretty consistent but the service is pretty poor. Most of the time I’ve had to wait an extra 15 minutes or more on top of my mobile order time. I’ve also noticed that most of the workers don’t greet you at all. I’ve watched three customers walk up in the time I’ve been waiting and neither one has been acknowledged until they spoke to the baristas first. As someone who works in customer service, i understand busy and I understand being in training. What I don’t understand is ignoring customers. Acknowledging customers is basic customer service. The least that could be said is “Hey! Sorry about your wait. We’ll be with you in just a second.” Something like that would make me stick around and wait as opposed to being...
