Impressive changes. Came here once shortly after they were newly opened and we were not impressed for several reasons. Came out here for my Dad's birthday because he loves their catfish. The rib tips were on special and they were delicious. I don't see rib tips served many places, a shame because it is such a delicious cut of meat even if it does require some work to eat The catfish was as good as my parents said, I had the chimi sandwich and I am happy to report that there is another restaurant in the area where I will happily order their link sausage (I like link sausage but am picky) I think it was easy for servers not to notice their Booth tables which disappear comfortably into the shadows before and that no longer seems to be an issue, we were checked on regularly without being uncomfortably smothered and had really wonderful service. My tequila old fashioned was well made and I don't think I would hesitate to order something that perhaps wasn't explicitly on the drink menu here. All around I am really happy to have Brick street in the community as they had moved into the old location of what had been a family favorite restaurant and our first encounter may have been a little heartbreaking when we had so eager to give the new restaurant a try. (To clarify without detail, it hadn't been bad before. Just a rather mediocre experience that wasn't worth our drive...

The food was well prepared and plated nicely. Our server I cannot remember her name was amazing. My wife and I ordered from the menu around 4:30 on a Monday afternoon. She ordered a chicken sandwich and I ordered Burnt ends with 2 sides fries, and a side salad with French dressing. To start with my wife’s sandwich she found the bread to be great and the chicken was tasty with the exception of it being extremely oversalted and peppered. I must say without it being poured salt and pepper on the sandwich it looked good and my wife picked off the most salty pieces she could. Second my plate I ordered Burnt ends, Side salad, and fries. Starting with the sides the best dish I ate was the side salad with great French dressing the lettuce was crispy and fresh and the dressing was amazing. Next the fries we got were cooked well but again oversaturated with salt I could not eat them. Next let’s talk the bbq I ordered. The burnt ends I ate get a 2.5 out of 5. Half the burnt ends where just big pieces of fat they where inedible, the other half where smoked well but again way to much salt and pepper. The reason I am leaving a 3 star is due to these errors in the kitchen. My server was an absolute delight. We were...

Food was decent I'll give them that but their wait staff is absolutely horrible. My waitress set me down didn't get my drink order and said she'll be back in a minute. 15 minutes go by and I'm still sitting there. And so another waitress comes up and goes do you need something to drink sir and I go yeah water would be great. Another 5 minutes go by and my waitress finally comes and asks what I want and so I ordered the pulled pork lunch special and sweet potato fries about 15 minutes later food comes out I have now been there for over 30 minutes so I ask for a box and the receipt which she replied okay hold on and I had my card out because I needed to leave she brings me the receipt and the Box and then leaves again for another 5 minutes then comes back and smarkingly takes my card goes and bills me out. With new grill right across the street from you y'all. Y'all need to do way way better! But as I said the food was good and I had to eat it on the road because I couldn't sit there and enjoy it in...

The atmosphere is so nice and there is lots of room so you don't feel crowded. We dropped in on a Saturday early afternoon, and it wasn't busy. We were seated immediately, and our server was quick to get our drinks orders. They arrived quickly, and we got our food ordered. It was a hard choice, but I decided on the pulled pork sandwich and added onion straws, jalapeños, pepper jack cheese, and pickles. My husband ordered the half slab of ribs with fries and baked beans. We went for the spicy BBQ sauce. The food was excellent. Both meats were perfect, and his ribs were delicious and really didn't need a sauce. We were both very happy with our service and food. We will definitely return. It is a bot difficult to find good BBQ in our area, so we are excited for Brickstreet BBQ. The sauce was flavorful. It could have been spicier for us, but the meat was plenty good without a sauce, too.

Deserves Zero stars. On 5/6/2023 Was seated and told server would be right with us. Husband went to the restroom, came back and we waited and waited and waited, NEVER had anyone come to the table, not even for drinks. We were waiting about 30+ minutes until we left and went to another restaurant. The place wasn't very busy at the time (approx 2 p.m.) only 2 other tables on our side had customers the rest were empty. There were 5 workers walking around like they were bored, wiped down some tables, giggled, swept under some tables, picked up some cups from an empty table all while we sat there waiting. One girl was swinging her arms like she didn't have a thing in the world to do. As we left I told the girl that seated us we were never waited on so we were leaving, she just looked at me, never said a word. TERRIBLE staff!

Absolutely beautiful building with plenty of seating and a very nice restroom. I sampled the fried pickles and macaroni bites and they were both delicious! I had the BBQ Mac & Cheese. Thankfully not spicy like I've experienced some places. Excellent. Would highly recommend! There is a small parking lot directly south of the building and quite a bit of street parking, too. This is very near all the cute downtown shops as well. Definitely make the short trek over to The Artificers if you enjoy artwork!
