After trying out China City in Fort smith and finding it to be subpar Which was dissapointing considering I really enjoy a good Chinese buffet, I tried out this Asian Buffet and while I personally found it to be better in some regards It was also a let down. The Service feels like they don't enjoy being there and so you don't want to be there either, I was greeted by one of their kids I presume who took me to a table where I was seated they then took my order for what I wanted to drink, then I proceeded to go collect some food from the buffet and came back to another server bringing me my drink, she then proceeded to take my stuff from my table I was at to a separate table because She decided to give the couple who just came in my table without ever communicating that to me.. the tables were identical and Though the lady was friendly enough she actually never explained what she was doing, she just took my stuff while I was sitting there about to eat and moved it to a separate table while I was sitting there.
Now for the food They have a decent bit of options for seafood which is nice, however not all the food was cooked properly in my honest opinion, it also wasn't all kept hot enough either, it wasn't Terrible...it just wasn't anything to write home about and I probably will drive to another town in search of a different buffet next time I'm craving chinese because overall the service, the environment, and the food, all fall short of the standards I expect a restaurant to meet.
I would like to see this restaurant do better because at the end of the day it's a business, it's a place where people can eat and it's something to take some pride in.
My suggestion for this restaurant would be to take more pride in your business it's not just about making money in a day It's about creating an environment where people want to come back and eat again. If I find a buffet that I enjoy I will eat there several times a week, I would be helping you with word of mouth by telling people I enjoy eating there. I would bring my family when they're visiting so they could enjoy the food aswell.
However the way your restaurant is I would not consider eating here multipule times a week. And I wouldn't mention it to my friends or family because It's no better than any of the buffets they have and it's worse than many of the ones I've been to because There's not enough pride here.
The environment could likely be improved with better lighting near the bars so it's not a dark kitchen.
Many of your items on the buffet need to be cooked with more pride. The pizza, chicken nuggets, etc is a cool feature for the people who maybe don't like the typical options at a chinese restaurant but came along with their friends or family, that said the pizza was not very good and I don't say that to be disrespectful, I say that because we're all human and sometimes we need to know the truth. it's also possible that you're making it yourself and you're putting effort into making it good and you may need to do some research on how to make a better pizza, or resort to something store bought. And if you enjoy the pizza made that way you can still enjoy it that way, I just wouldn't recommend serving that to customers because it's a bland let down of what I already assumed was a cheap pizza.
I would like to say I think the way the ice cream is in the small foam bowls with lids is really cool because it makes it convenient to get a small serving and without fighting to scoop it out of a bucket. I would however recommend labeling the ice cream as for me a first time customer I couldn't tell what was what and I didn't want to remove lids on everything to find out so Labels for each row would be...
Read moreWent in today with 2 other people at lunch time. Never been before. Just moved to the area. Now, before I get into it, I absolutely LOVE a hole in the wall place to eat. But this place.. not it. It’s the ugly cousin to the hole in the wall place. Everything was going good. Until it wasn’t. They have a HUGE roach infestation. I didn’t notice it at first. But by golly, when I went to check out the sushi, a nasty cockroach crawled out from under a piece of sushi. I immediately brought it to their attention. The lady cleaning tables, which they were super sticky but it wasn’t a huge issue. I figured they might have been busy before we got there. Anyways, she killed it with her cleaning rag she was cleaning the buffet with. And tried to hide it from me and another customer. I had her show the lady that seemed like she was running the place. I didn’t cause a scene. I just wanted them to know. We went to pay because I lost my appetite. And the guy at the front, when he said something about us not looking happy, said okay well if your not happy don’t pay. My friend said okay well I’m not happy with the bugs. He had his card in his hand to pay. The guy was so so rude. He told another customer, we just didn’t want to pay. I immediately let them and everyone know that wasn’t the case. It’s nasty to see a cockroach crawl out of the food! He just kept on. The cleaning lady brought her rag up to show him the dead bug. I guess to stop the altercation, even after telling him we have no problem paying. Just take the contaminated food off the buffet. Clean the place up! I then let him know as I was walking out, everyone would know how absolutely disgusting his attitude is. And that they are okay with serving food that had visible bugs...
Read morePersonally I wouldn’t eat here. This restaurant used to be okay, and decently clean. But now I feel like the restaurant has gone down hill. The price you pay, is not worth the quality of the food, seating, and even just general cleanliness of the place. Me and my family decided to eat at a booth, and directly behind us was a wall that was absolutely disgusting. there was dirt and huge clumps of dust. I’m pretty sure the wall was rotting. I ordered a lemonade and got water with a HINT of lemon. it tasted pretty nasty. My family got orange crush and what came back was pepsi? if you offer things like orange crush and lemonade, make sure that they are ACTUALLY lemonade and orange crush. The table we sat at was oddly sticky. It looked like it was covered with something, but I don’t know what. The hot sauce bottle at the table had old and crusty hot sauce at the top. the soy sauce had some weird substance on the outside of the bottle. And the air vents had definitely not been cleaned in a LONG TIME. The crawfish is awful! it smells weirdly sour. In short, do not eat here. the place hasn’t been cleaned, the food is bad, and what your paying is DEFINITELY not what you...
