This place is a little secret known to many locals around Ft. Smith. They are only open til after lunch, but if you can make it hear for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, man are you in for a treat. Food is made fresh to order in this little diner situated at the corner of Hwy 71 S & Zero St. Breakfast served the duration of service, burgers to die for, and the best bacon in the river valley. The pricing is reasonable and the owner is always so lovely. The staff have had an overhaul and are so nice and friendly. Service with a smile. We enjoy ourselves every time. Try their breakfast anytime, it's absolutely worth it.

My family tried Lewis’ Family Restaurant for the first time today. We weren’t sure what to expect, with some of the reviews being negative, but for a Monday afternoon, we experienced a very clean restaurant with very friendly waitresses! We were pleasantly surprised in both of those senses! The food quality, overall, was good, and definitely met all expectations of what you’d expect at this price point. The food portions were VERY generous for the price! Definitely give Lewis’ Family Restaurant a try if you’re looking for a nice, cheap, and friendly breakfast, brunch, or lunch experience! 🙂

I liked this neighborhood restaurant. I got the Friday special. Catfish and hush puppies and green beans and macaroni and cheese. It was very good. I would return and eat here again.

I was apprehensive of this place due to the looks from the outside, but the inside is very cozy and has a nice diner feel to it. I ordered over medium eggs and they came out perfect. The bacon was very crispy (the way I like it, so caution to those of you that don't). The loaded hash browns were okay, the only reason they weren't good imo is that they were a little thin and oily so they didn't have much taste, but the 'loaded' part was delicious. The biscuits were good and if you get gravy it's a sausage/bacon gravy that has a nice thicker consistency that was very tasty to me. The last thing I ate was their waffle and it was the star of the meal. I used very little syrup, because it wasn't really needed. The waffle was soft (so if you like crispy waffles be sure to tell them) and had a pleasant taste. The waitress was very attentive and pleasant as well. Overall, I am very glad I decided to try this diner and look forward to trying the rest of the menu. My wife wasn't as impressed, but she's a bit of a pickier eater than I am. I.e. she likes soft bacon, uses butter instead of oil for cooking, and isn't a big...

Great food, great service. There was a man who worked there who was working SI VERY HARD!!! I don't know what his name is but he was busing tables ,serving food ,anything that needed to be done. I actually felt sorry for him he was working so hard and moving very fast to make sure everyone had there meal and was happy. Now on the other hand I don't know what happened to our waitress she took the order and the gentleman working brought out our food . And then NEVER SEEN HER AGAIN. No refills on coffee or anything. Very disappointed in her. So the gentleman who brought the food out got the nice BIG TIP .he worked so hard and was the one who refilled my coffee when he seen I was looking for the waitress or anyone ,he came over and asked if I needed something . He was so nice even tho it looked like he could collapse from all the hard work he was doing. He needs a big raise and he needs recognition for his proffesionalisim. I sure...

There was a blonde girl there with glasses and she was so rude to us. Her working there ruined the atmosphere. She ripped things out of our hands and wasn’t helpful at all, she acted like everything we said was an inconvenience to her and laughed in our faces when we would ask for help because the menus don’t make sense. A door was open and we could see inside the dish room and back area and it was DISGUSTING. My friends and I were so disappointed to be treated this way in a restaurant that’s been around for 40 YEARS. The food wasn’t good either, bottom side of the waffle burnt, overall stay home or go somewhere else because in this economy you can’t afford service or...
