If you’re passing through the Minneapolis Airport, make sure to stop by Angel Food Bakery (E gates) —you won’t regret it! Their donuts are not just eye-catching but absolutely delicious. I tried the Peppermint Chocolate Donut, and it was perfection. The chocolate glaze was rich and indulgent, while the donut itself was light and fluffy with just the right texture and sprinkle of peppermint. Joe went with the Maple and Chocolate Donut, which was a dreamy combination of sweet maple and smooth chocolate. The real standout? The actual donut itself—it tastes as amazing as it looks. You can tell these donuts are made with care and high-quality ingredients. Angel Food Bakery definitely lives up to the hype, and I only wish we had more time to try their other offerings. This spot is a must for anyone traveling through MSP. Highly recommend! 5/5 stars!

This place is so cute! In terminal 1 of the MSP Airport, I expect the higher prices for the food. I got a breakfast sandwich with sausage. The biscuit was perfect-at least to my preference-crispy on the outside, but not too messy to eat as it did not crumble. The dark roast coffee is pretty good-maybe a little too dark. They only have 2 coffee choices-both hot. A light and a dark roast. I would have liked an iced version because this airport is hot. The donuts and other baked goodies looked so yummy. But what tops it off for me was the cheerful employee who was taking orders. Not everyone is that cheerful at 4 in the morning-so I really appreciated his positive, friendly attitude. They do have a cooler with other options like water bottles, canned nitro coffee, sandwiches, and more. I'd recommend trying this place out!

I don't understand how this place has a 3.8 rating. I had a 6 am flight and got to the airport early. I didn't want the usual #Dunkin or #CaribouCoffee so I walked about the E gates and stumbled upon Angel Food Bakery and Donuts. I was worried that they would just have sweets but was pleasantly surprised at their breakfast sandwiches and savory menu. I got a sausage, egg and cheese on a biscuit. The biscuit was a nice, dense biscuit that didn't crumble easily. The cheddar was melted nicely and the eggs were definitely real because there were some shells. I got some cookies and a scone to bring back for the family. This staff was super friendly for the 4/5 am hr and super quick. I Def recommend this place but would also suggest that they take names so it's a little easier to figure out who's hot order is for who.

I love the angle food bakery downtown Minneapolis, they made my wedding cake, the quality of goods is just as good at the airport however the staff at the airport is not friendly, poor customer service. I make a point to get my favorite treat at the airport whenever I fly bc I still love their stuff, however last month when I was there I asked if they had anymore gluten free scones left(which is not a choice but a health issue) and they said yes. I confirmed it was gluten free and proceeded to my flight, it was about halfway through the scone I realized they had given me a non gluten free scone, however it was too late, my first two days of vacation were ruined bc as she made it seem when I came to the counter, I was inconveniencing her. Like I said I love the downtown location and their staff and product, however consider hiring staff that is eager, respectful and aware of what they are giving someone who...
