The Bevador Room — Restaurant in Fort Walton Beach

TERRIBLE BAR, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! DO NOT GO! I walk into the bar and order a drink with my girlfriend and immediately are told to sit down. This would be ok if there were enough chairs for everyone...there were not. Also waited in line for 15 minutes to get in mind you. Everywhere we went we were told we could not stand there. This happens 2 times before some people get up. Finally sit down and 10 minutes later the guy who was sitting where I was rudely asks for "his" sit back. I respond with a simple "no this is not your seat" now normally it wouldn't be a big deal but the have to sit rule has made chairs a hot commodity. Guy proceeds to get belligerent and try to fight me. I ignore him. He continues, I tell my girlfriend "im going to jail". She immediately starts cussing this guy up and down. After dinner at Ivy & Ale, I was looking for a place to get a good cocktail. This place was recommended by the patrons at the restaurant so I went to check it out. I stayed in the front room at the small, intimate, bar, so did not really check out the larger room in the back. The main bartender was super into the 80’s music they were playing (just my jam, being a teenager in the 80’s) and was friendly and knowledgeable about good cocktails. The other bartender was learning but very nice and the smoky cocktail she made me was perfect. Really amazing staff, tasty drinks and an extensive craft beer list. The bartender David was really helpful and knowledgeable about his spirits as well as his beer. Definitely a strong asset from what i can tell. I think the bevador room is a hit as well as a great addition to the downtown Ft. Walton Beach area. Ill...
