We were looking forward to trying this place due to the raving reviews. This has got to be one of the worst establishments I have been to. I placed an online order for pick up so that we could pick it up and head straight to the beach. Online order said the order will be ready at 11:44Am. We got there around 11:47Am and the order wasn’t ready. It seemed like they forgot to check online orders. They started to make it when we got there. The staff seemed to be in a bitter mood. We ordered two doughnuts and two pesto sandwiches. One of them we requested it be subbed with sourdough. The sourdough sandwich was so bad. All the fillings were in the middle of the bread, the pesto wasn’t spread out and the bread wasn’t toasted! The sourdough did not taste like sourdough bread. The churro doughnut is delicious but they gave us the turtle cheesecake, when we ordered the regular turtle. I would never recommend this place. Maybe go for a doughnut but the coffee and breakfast items were terrible. None of the staff apologized for not having the order ready, maybe they were having a bad day? Still an apology would’ve went a long way. If you’re looking for breakfast I recommend the other cafes nearby. Sound cafe was amazing and the food trucks nearby with coffee, açaí bowls, and breakfast is 1000% better. We actually ended getting food at the food trucks after this poor experience at...

Classic contemporary Americana. Don't dis this people, we build nations and love people here! Doughnuts for all diets! Do you Keto? Tired of pretend almosts in sweets that attempt to garner your love of pastry and then laugh at your frustration and disgust because it tastes yucky? This is the doughnut 🍩 for you! It's been 3 ,yes 3 whole years since hubby has had a sweet he hasn't said "ok yet again you make me suffer while telling me it might work." This doughnut is keto friendly and it is good 👍💕
Plenty of savory choices, my picky child ate his whole sandwich and said yes I will eat this again. Sausage biscuit is awesome, mesquite grill taste.
Coffee is Peruvian, crema on the Expresso is lovely.
This place is beloved of locals, supports animal charities in the area, as well as other charity events. This place is; popping, clean, crisp, tidy, kind, efficient, and cosy. Indoor and outdoor seating. Pleasant ambiance all around. Antiques in eye catching manner.
I review 'high" five stars because I have decided to only review my best experiences for food.
I'm just plumb tired of poor reviews & less then. I need to know the best places when I search with exact/precise details.
So that's what the public needs, so...
Read moreFirst off the best coffee in town. In fact the best coffee at a donut shop I have ever had (from the owner of a craft coffee shop and a founder of a roastery in Kansas who seeks out good coffee). If you have a true love for properly roasted espresso with skilled baristas that know how to pull shots, this is the place to go. I had a cappuccino. If I lived here I would be a daily regular. The donuts are amazing too. The donuts were beautifully made and I should have taken a photo but his was all that was left. My recommendation to the owners would be to post more photos of coffee drinks and equipment. Unfortunately this was literally our last stop before leaving.
To help other coffee lovers, some criteria I look for to identify good coffee when traveling is the 1) menu for traditional coffee drinks for example a cappuccino should be 6oz with no other sizes 2) Equipment and brands Donut Parlor has a La Marzocco Linea and k30 grinder which is an excellent sign of good coffee because it takes skill to use them 3) latte art shows barista skill 4) color of beans (dark and oily = bad overly roasted beans). Donut Parlor passed all 4 but I was just sad we didn’t find...
