Came to eat at the la calle food Hall and then as we always do as a large group go over to The Muse wine bar and have a drink or two, but before we could do that the owner or manager as she proclaimed to be came out and told us that we could not occupy her parking spaces because we had too many cars. There were 18 cars each car carrying one to three people bringing business to the entire building because there are multiple restaurants connected. The woman who stated she was the owner and or manager of the muse knowingly told us to move our vehicles to the other side of the lot because we were occupying too many parking spaces. We have came to this establishment on multiple occasions and supported both businesses if not all the businesses in this area and there's never been a problem until tonight which I find highly unacceptable. The fact that we couldn't even Park go eat our food and then support their business is outrageous. She ran out so fast to talk to us in a very ill manner and loud tone that it was discouraging to the people who were trying to have a great night with the two establishments. Very unprofessional and definitely not worth the money that we were going to spend to support the establishment. I know firsthand that none of the 30 people that came here tonight will ever return to support this business in which it is in poor taste and poor judgment upon the staff for rushing us and yelling at us the way she did. I do not recommend this establishment to anybody especially if their attitude is as such.
Also... Our car club has not met up on a Wednesday since last summer in September. We only do Fridays, And when we do we always support the business we parked in front of no matter if they're connected or across the street...
Read moreI am part of a local car club that meets only on Fridays. We love to visit local businesses on our meet nights. We planned to go to la Calle and then the muse. This is our second time going to this business as a group. Last time, we all enjoyed some dinner at la Calle then enjoyed some wine and charcuterie at the muse. The owner was there on her computer and was very friendly. Even told us we were always welcome. This time, she was completely the opposite. As we were parking our cars, she came out to the parking lot and was very rude and unprofessional to one of the senior members of the club. I could hear her from the opposite end of the lot. After he explained to her we were going to be visiting her establishment, She made the majority of us move our cars at the threat of being towed. It is a large parking lot, not sure if it’s shared between the two businesses or if there’s a “line” to be drawn somewhere in the parking lot. However, there are no signs or any markings to tell the difference. So, in my opinion, all of our cars were parked legally in clearly available parking spots. (There were a lot of spots open/not a lot of customers) Based on this experience with the owner of the business, and reading the unprofessional and frankly disparaging replies on the lower rated reviews, I will not recommend...
Read moreThis place is amazing. It is owned and operated by an entrepreneurial couple who have worked together by capitalizing on one another’s strengths to superbly fulfill their creative vision. They have designed The Muse in such a way that when you walk in, you feel transported to an entirely different place, bringing the best elements of a comfy and tasteful friend’s home and a chic metropolitan bar to their establishment. The food and drinks took the whole experience to the next level. I received insightful recommendations from the staff, who helped my friends and I make the right selections for what we wanted out of the evening. We were served a heaping, gorgeously-presented, flavorful, and multifaceted charcuterie board which flawlessly complemented the generous pours of scrumptious wine, chilled perfectly to enjoy the fullness and balance of the taste. Bottom line, you will be very glad you...
