Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Fort Wayne

I'll be totally honest with you... My nuggets were cold. My cookie was hard as a rock. The ice cubes in my lemonade had black specks inside somehow. Lastly, my waffle fries were old... BUT! The one special thing that turned this visit around for me was a young man by the name of RYAN who provided my son and I with excellent, I mean EXCELLENT customer service!!! I have never been treated so well by anyone in the restaurant industry. He was clearly just a genuine guy who really valued making sure we knew how special we were to him. Well, I guess he treated all the other customers the same, but the point is that he still made me feel special - and that's what counts! He fixed all the issues with my food, plus he was really friendly and patient with my son who was misbehaving most of the time. I can't express my gratitude toward this man enough. He was so sweet. This was the first time I got bad food from any Chick-fil-a ever, and was the first time I left a store not thinking about the food (and how good it was)... Instead I left thinking about Ryan and how awesome he is. Truly amazing that real and special people like him exist in the world today. Thanks Ryan! You really made my day! They'd better keep you forever. You changed my whole experience. Seriously, because I normally don't play about my food! I was about to leave the worst review on the receipt survey......

My husband and I love Chick Fil A! I am a Chick Fil A SILVER app member. On our last visit we ordered a large waffle fry to share between us. He got the regular chicken sandwich and I got an 8 piece regular nugget. We shared an ice dream dessert with chocolate drizzle in a cup. We love that we can get caffeine free diet coke here. We don't know of any other fast food that offers it. We can also get NO SALT fries. The rewards on Silver status add up pretty fast. We got the 8 piece nuggets for free at our last meal. Today I downloaded the Chick Fil A Play app to my phone. I spent over an hour just now reviewing the app with all the cool games, creative art ideas, cute cartoon 5 min videos involving the cows, and fun recipes you can make at home with some Chick Fil A ingredients. I just tried a local prepared meal service and there were a couple of fast food items I may get again but the ideas on the make at home recipe part of the Chick Fil A Play app look way better! And healthier! I'm going to extensively use this app with my 9 yr old grandson this summer for together time! Chick Fil A you did it again! Your healthy options, clean restaurant, courteous team members, reward app, and family based Chick Fil A Play app rule far above the other fast foods! I love supporting a Christian Owned...

When I lived in the area I was a daily customer. I don't go as often, but it seems like they focus on saying 'my pleasure' instead of you're welcome, more than they focus on customer service. I ordered via mobile app, and waited until I was notified my food was at the pick up area. I ran in without a mask on thinking I would grab and go, but that wasn't the case. Several minutes later they brought me my food and I left on out. Got to my vehicle, only to realize they didn't double cook my nuggets as I had asked. Keep in mind, I've ordered like this before and even clicked on a previous order to get this order started, so I've been able to get them double cooked before. They flat out refused, and then tried to give me a hard time over the refund because it was a mobile order and I didn't have the card that was used. I don't carry cards, which is why I order via app. Got it taken care of. Went to eat the Mac and cheese and I didn't have a fork! The lack of Customer Service can be compared to the normal treatment at McDonalds. Totally disappointing, and I won't be coming back to this location.
