This is now the third time I've come to this place and I'm sitting in the Drive-Thru behind two cars and it's been 15 minutes I'm the third car. First time I was here I always get the same thing turkey sandwich with a side of macaroni and cheese and a drink the macaroni and cheese was not only frigid cold it was tasteless. I'm like this is a barbecue place and I got a turkey sandwich with no barbecue they didn't even ask if I wanted any.
Well since this was a new place I wanted to give it another shot not based on my first bad experience.... Ordered the same thing... This time they gave me several barbecue sauces to try which I liked.... Again the macaroni and cheese is completely tasteless .... This time it's only lukewarm.... In the freaking turkey has fatty gristle in it.
The only reason I'm going here the third time is because Chick-fil-A has a double line wrapped their building and I'm not going to wait on that.... I'm pulling over to park to try this macaroni and cheese and let me tell you this time it's hot and it's even more tasteless than ever what is the recipe of this it's worse than Kraft. My mountain dew is in what looks to be a small cup.... My turkey sandwich is piled high with turkey and looks good.... Literally it is only half warm.... I'm writing this in real time.
I have to believe third time is the charm I will never be back to this place even if I'm starving in emaciated.... With tax I paid $14.02 for this meal and it's literally not even close to being worth it for what you get.... The quality is completely mediocre. I hate to write a negative review about anything but you know what this place isn't worth it maybe I should try something other than the turkey but you already got me for three lousy meals.... I'm not coming back I wouldn't even accept $100 gift card...

But the new thing is what I am praising is the new “Pastrami” menu. I had the Pastrami Rueben. Plenty of thick slices of smoked pastrami, fresh homemade creamy Cole slaw and really tasty mustard aioli on a soft bun. Tag that with fries or potato salad and you have a great combo.
Things like consistency, cleanliness of the store, helpfulness of staff keep this location in the top five of my restaurant choices. So take everything I said before in the review of their opening and add to it the fact that they started well and continue to do things right.
Yay! City BBQ comes to Fort Wayne! am a long time fan of City BBQ, it’s where I go in the Indianapolis area stores and have eaten at five different locations. But I live in Fort Wayne, so you have to know that this is a huge. I’ve eaten bbq in other places and this is my favorite.
What I love, other than amazing bbq, is the consistency. You know what to expect every time. Generous portion sizes, quality smoked meats and sides, all prepared on site. Smokers seemingly running all the time. And smoked to perfection. Their staff is friendly and helpful and want you to have a great experience.
I have some favorites; the cowbell sandwich that is tender slices of brisquit, cheese, grilled onions and peppers topped with runny fried onions on Texas toast. My other favorite are the ribs - they are amazingly tender, not greasy, and they use a flavorful rub that is enhanced by the smoking. I love their sauces - brush fire is my favorite (admittedly I used the. For dipping, the meat doesn’t need to be hidden by sauce) I love the collard greens and the chocolate cake and...

Parking was not the most ideal, but that is such a small piece of the puzzle, that it’s hardly worth mentioning. The lady behind the counter was extremely helpful in my dad and I ordering (again, it was our first time). We did the 2 meat, 2 side sampler, each ordering something unique to get the full picture (food and description is below). The one thing I was really impressed with was the service. Very nice and helpful constantly. One sampler is $15.99, which feels fair for the food you get.
The meats: Pork Belly Burnt Ends, 18-hour Brisket, Sausage, and ribs The sides: fries, corn bread, 3-cheese baked mac, and baked beans
Pork belly: really really yummy. Would highly recommend and the extra $3 is completely worth it. Brisket: it was fine - brisket usually is. It was slightly dry, but generally smoky flavor. Sausage: this was extremely juicy and delicious Ribs: you only get 3 with the sampler, but they were extremely tender.
Fries: they were fries. ‘Nough said Corn bread: this was good. Nice crust. 3-cheese baked mac: really enjoyed this. Good cheese flavor. Baked beans: loved these. There’s brisket in there, which is a nice texture and flavor addition.
Additionally, there were some sauces we tried. These are what you’d expect, and really heightened the experience.
Loved it here,...
